Rather than trekking all the way back to downtown Manhattan from Brooklyn, I called around and found a stationery shop willing to refill my pen. Stepping out into a cold, rainy November afternoon, walking to the stationary shop - I promised myself this would no longer be my story. No more traveling with ink bottles. I vowed to switch to refillable cartridges to make life easier. I exclusively use fountain pens & these cartridges are great and fit my Asvine Hongdian fountain pens perfectly. To prevent any leaks in my bag or purse, I carry them in small plastic pill baggies, and that setup has worked flawlessly.

I have several Hongdian fountain pens. These are the right size. They fit perfectly, are light weight, and the quality is much better than the price suggests. I bought them because the original pen converters didn't have the agitator. The little spring is quite effective without displacing much ink. Grooves on the plunger top make turning it comfortable on your fingers.

Exactly the same as the ones that come in the pen so they work perfectly.

I've only used one of the converters, and it seems fine. I bought these as replacement converters for the PenBBS 308 since I had heard they would fit - but only one of the five converters fit, and it's a super tight fit, so if you're looking for a PenBBS converter alternative it may not be ideal. To be fair, they are not advertised for this pen, and I'm sure they will work just fine in a Hongdian pen (I have some of those too)

Amazing product for the price! Eliminate disposable plastic! Fits Parker and Lamy pens. Each one has a little spring bouncing around in it. I kind of wondered what that was until I realized it helps little amounts of ink go to either end based on gravity. Brilliant!!! Revived all my old parker fountain pens. Also, the fluted twist grip is better than most and because it's a twist, it's way better than pull pistons. Update: one of them that's in a pen had the piston handle snap off and the silver barrel crack. Looks like metal but is plastic. Will be interesting to see if more break over time.

These converters are the very same type as the converter that comes standard with the Hongdian “Forest” style fountain pens. So if you’re looking for replacements, this is the item you’ll want. Arrived quickly. Very satisfied

These converters have all the right details built it. As other reviews have pointed out, the small spring in the barrel does a great job of knocking that drop of ink out of the corner. If you have even a small collection of fountain pens these are the replacement converters you find yourself looking for when the ink in you pens is not flowing well. They returned my pens to their free-flowing glory. All this at a very fair price! (check that your pens use the 3.4mm size)

Uso la mia Black Forest Max con inchiostri di diverso colore e preferisco dedicare un converter ad ognuno di questi piuttosto che dover pulire lo stesso a fondo in occasione di ogni cambio. Converter di buona qualità. Molto soddisfatto!

All in all excellent quality. (I tried it on a Lamy Safari, but could be more firm on those models. But it works in the Safari nicely also. However, it is made for Hongdian Pens, not the Lamy, so do not buy for pen brands other than Hongdian in case you anre not sure). As I said already the overall quality is excellent.

Only used one so far but it works just fine so I expect the rest in the packet to be the same. Much better than using disposable cartridges and I love the pen, so, pretty happy to be able to get the reusable cartridges easily.

Identical dimensions to the converter that came with my 1980s Parker Duofold, which was leaking and had a problem with ink flow. It also fits in a Parker 45. It does NOT fit in a Parker 88/Rialto, which is very slim and came with a slightly narrower 70s style bladder converter. Note that this Hongdian converter has a small stainless steel spring which breaks the ink surface tension, to prevent a flow problem I experienced in my Duofold, where it quit working after a page or two of writing and I had to twist the converter down to get it working again. I can confirm, after writing around ten pages, that the converter has fixed the flow problem in my Duofold pen. Anyway, 5 converters for the price of 1 Parker converter and it has a spring to help with flow. A very good deal.
