I had not realised that my Ram was low till my computer refused to respond, it had been taking ages to do anything.So I used the old method alt+ control+ del , and task manager said I had only half my Ram usable!!!. Now I only use office 2016 and internet google now edge. I am not a gamer. However all these modern software progs use background stuff which constant want updating. So I killed off do I want to know news/weather/stock market/social media links etc and eventually found enough ram power to use the internet, and then ordered some more Ram. Useful program on site that tells you which Ram strip to order. Using an old computer has its advantages, the Ram for it is cheap. But shop around. I am over the moon, saves buying new computer and all the hassle. Big Point - do disconnect from power supply before you open the box. Will use this supplier again very fast. For info with my four internal Ram slots I have gone from 4gb (1gb strip x 4) to 10gb (4gb strip x 2 + 1gb strip x 2). Remember my needs are for office type use, a gamer will want much more and even latest office will demand more. So you may still need a new computer as there is a limit to what you can do with an old steam driven machine like mine.However less than £20 is a flippin bargain. I just hate buying new tvs phones and computers its the grey hair in me. Recycle and renew is my MOTO, take care humans.

I bought this to upgrade my old but still capable desktop from 8GB to 16GB. Installation was straight forward and I did not encounter any problem. The PC booted without issues. However, I found that the memory was running at a lower speed than I anticipated due to compatibility issues with my old RAMs. This was solved by setting the timings of the RAMs manually in the BIOS. After that, I stress tested the RAMs overnight and all is well. The system is used daily for the last 6 weeks and have had no problem.

Easy to installed and made the difference I was expecting as it doubled my ram. Good value for the money.

The memory was well packed for protection in transit and although there are no instructions supplied they fitted easily into the motherboard. They have been in the computer for about 2 weeks now and it has been on virtually the whole time and they have performed faultlessly so they appear to be reliable. I would say they were a good quality product at a reasonable price.

Good cheap memory, did the job for upgrade of desktop.
