Young or old every household should have a copy of this book to share with family and friends if you truly LOVE them and desire to see them living a fulfilled life share this truth.

I still haven't sat down and read the whole book properly but just dipping into it, has resulted in large chunks of it already having been read! It is un-put-downable. It is full of fascinating information & insights.Although I first heard about the book many years ago, this is the first time I've actually read it. Interestingly its not exactly what I expected. I thought it would be about healing, but it is primarily about the influence of lifestyle choices on health. (Given the biblical context from which the title is taken, I'm not sure why I made the mistake!)It tackles some controversial issues and not all readers will agree with every word written. But these are opinions & conclusions not just reached out of biblical insight but also from much medical knowledge & experience. At the very least, they are worth considering with an open mind.

Just goes to show, once again, that scientists are only finding out now what the Bible has told us for thousands of years.

This is a really good book by a medical doctor, looking at links between what the Bible has been recommending for centuries, and good health and medical practice, based on what modern research has discovered today. It's easy to read, and has a few surprises!

The excellent book written by a well experienced medical doctor on why we get physical ailments and sicknesses...Everyone should go through this excellent material. This book addresses the need of the salvation of our souls and in turn the remedies for the healing of physical sickly bodies.

Somewhat repetitive but I found most of it interesting in how the commandments of our creator are for our blessings and well being.

I read this book before my second son was born in 1977. Mind you that was the 70’s. ( was a young Christian and not anything approaching a scholar as I image the majority of thirty somethings are not). I had asked my son’s Pediatrician why he circumcised my son on the third day instead of the 8th day as the Bible commanded. He said we now know that vitamin K comes into the body on the 8th day and it is a clotting factor. The child would otherwise bleed to death. So we give a shot of V K and go ahead and circumcise on the 3rd day. Just one incredible way that GOD protected the Hebrews when he gave the Law to do this as a sign of the Covenant between Himself and the Hebrews. He said he would put on the diseases of the Egyptians on them. This is just one tiny but humongous way God protected both men and women from cervical cancer and other diseases!!! It was amazing to me! Many other reasons were given me that day, both medical & biblical for why they still circumcise still today. It is incredible for disease prevention and healthy sexual relationships. Done at day 3 to avoid outrageous pain if done later in life. If not done at all, it is very dangerous to health for both male and female. Done later in life it is excruciatingly painful.This point is just one small fraction of the information in this book of incredible history. How GOD protects us through what was given in Old Testament Law about how to handle all kinds of human ailments and what to do when handling the dead.I will read it over and over. I highly recommend. A MUST Read for a Christian.
