Trimline Corded Telephone - Design from 60s with Modern Electronics (White)

Looks and feels like a phone from the 60s, but even more substantial and better operating. Large number buttons, for those with fat fingers. On/off switch for ringer, but light on the back of phone still flashes to show someone is calling! The ring is very loud, a volume control for the ring would be nice, though there is a volume control for the conversation. Simple to use, and looks like it will be very reliable!!! I had no trouble getting the wall mount to work, though you have to pull the rest on the base of the phone directly upwards toward you and away from the phone, and then turn the rest through 180 degrees!!!

This would work well if I worked in a missile silo and stared at it constantly. Only way to know it works is when it flashes. OK, for when another phone does ring elsewhere. This one assures me it isn't a scene in a movie when phone rings and I look at it.

All in all it looked fine, what I expected, but the back wall mount did not fit my existing mount from a similar older phone. It lacked what I guess you would call a keyhole slider and instead just had 2 round mounting holes. I asked to return. When it was originally presumed I should pay shipping I objected because it was not my fault the mount didn't fit. I received a full refund without having to return so I donated it to Goodwill. I would gladly have used it if I could have mounted it on the wall because it was otherwise everything I had hoped for.

We order two of these phones for my in-laws. One of the two didn’t work. We shipped it back and got another which works great.I give a special shout out to Jim who was prompt and courteous in handling our request.The phone has great sound quality and it easy for my elderly in-laws to read and use.

A really bad imitation of the original Western Electric Princess phone. Poor physical quality.
