We started using the Whole Life Cat Living Treats because our cat was dealing with occasional itchiness and seemed a bit uncomfortable during certain seasons. I had been giving my cat these probiotics regularly for more than two years to help with her allergies. I would crush the treats into a powder easily and mix it in with her wet food. These treats worked really well to keep her allergies away. However, the brand has changed their formula, and now the treats are as hard as a rock. My cat refuses to eat them as they are, and it is extremely difficult to crush them up to put in her food. When I try, it just breaks into large chunks, and she just eats around those chunks, avoiding them. I tried to make it work, but it just isn't happening. I will be switching to a different brand so I can give my cat the probiotics she needs to keep her allergies away. I really hope the brand listens to these many, many negative reviews and changes their formula back to how it was.

First of all, let me say, I bought the old formula for at least a year now. My cat has serious digestive issues and I added these every single day. Things have been going very well. He didn't mind the pumpkin soft dissolvable shoes, they were kind of camouflaged in the food, and I was very pleased. Now with your new formula, it's completely different. Completely different. Not only does it stink, but it's hard and hard to bite, and my cat will not eat it. I read it three times to make sure it had the same ingredients but whatever you did, I am not able to buy it anymore. I had to give it to my feral cats outside and I'm not sure they even liked it. It's too expensive to give away. I'm very disappointed

I can't say what these taste like since I haven't snacked on them myself, but the cat doesn't care for them. Now, that said, she doesn't have teeth, either, and I didn't realize they were freeze dried. So I do crush them up and put them on her food. She'll eat them that way. As well, they were not in crumbles and dust as other users indicated. I have been giving them one at a time to the dogs as treats, and they are a hit with them! As for probiotics, I can only assume they are in there and are good for them.

I just tried these for the first time. My kitty loves them!! He has a lot of itching on his back so I bought these to see if they can help. In the meantime, he devours them so the product is definitely a win as far as a treat. I will continue to purchase.

Staple in our household for dogs and cats alike. Problems with a cat refusing to eat (I got some picky eaters)? Crush one of the pieces and sprinkle the ‘sugar’ on top. Works like a charm, every time. This freeze dried chicken is fresh, soft , can be easily crushed. Never a bad smell, never hard!

While these are made with great products, they were SO hard my cat couldn’t even chew them. Too bad because they appear to be a good product. Instead, I’m stuck with a bag of treats that are going to end up in the garbage.
