A superb set for the Country Music enthusiast. It is really early music and you would have to be a fan to love it. Also, collectors of this genre will already have the Jimmie Rodgers, Gene Autry, Bob Wills and Roy Rogers tracks. Nevertheless, it is a brilliant collection with names that I have not heard of before.This is a real bargain and the packaging and content is excellent - snap it up now!!

Here's just a few of the artists, Jimmie Rodgers,Jimmie Tarlton,Sam Mcgee, The Pickard Family,Nelstones Hawaiians,Grayson & Whitter,Cliff Carlisle,Milton Brown, The Delmore Brothers,Adolph Hofner,Bob Wills,Tex Ritter, Gene Autry,Merle Travis,Hank Penny,Roy Acuff, Spade Cooley,Bill Haley, Hank Thompson,Hank Williams..........its incredible value, the price is kept down by limited packaging and scant details other than a list of tracks and artists, date recorded and composer credit. Buy this and volume 2 and you will have a comprehensive collection similar to 'The History of Country and Western Music' for a fraction of the cost, saving enough to buy a decent illustrated Country music Encyclopaedia! I have both sets and if Membran release any more I will be first in line.
