This is a really nice little Spanish dictionary, which is full of pictures to help you to recognise the words and as many people find seeing something aids their memory, this can be very useful for the right kind of learner. My daughter is about to start secondary school and start learning Spanish, but was a bit nervous about it, so this has helped her to get a little more familiar with the language in a fun way. We flick through the book together and try and pronounce and remember the words. As well as the picture dictionary, (which has the English and Spanish words just to be sure that you haven't misinterpreted the photo!), there are also phrases, much like you would get in a travel phrase book, which are simple, but some are more useful than others. There is a link on the back cover to the free audio on the Collins website too.

A great pocket book sized dictionary to take away with you on holiday. Handily sorted into categories and its worth downloading the mp3 audio files that let you hear the words pronounced by a Spanish native.

This visual dictionary is a good way to learn Spanish in a way that doesn't feel so much like a lesson. The sections are small and easy to digest. The pictures are a good memory aid. The book jumps around between picture sections and phrases, so you don't get too bored. I like dipping into this book and learning when I have a few moments.

This feels like it should be more for kids as they'd enjoy the images and text together rather than the endless cartoons and illustrations they're made to suffer. Good quality, clear images and text, a fun little dictionary that fits into the pocket or handbag.

I'm hoping I can learn spanish more easily using the visual as I've struggled using other methods
