I bought this book as my students are studying a range of repertoire on the BTEC Tech Award for Performing Arts. It is invaluable as a resource and covers all they needed to know and how the whole process worked for this production of Too Much Punch for Judy from beginning to end. This book is a must for anyone wanting to understand how this play came into fruition.I read it over 2 nights - I couldn’t put it down. As a teacher who has to teach the context of the play for component 1 new BTEC Tech Award it provides all the information I need and more. I found it interesting, informative and most of all inspiring! So much so that I’ve started to write a play for my drama club! Not on a serious issue just about holidays but it’s a start. I’ve also bought I love you mum I promise I won’t die and scratching the surface as I love his style or verbatim Theatre so much AND I’ve planned a TIE style verbatim scheme of work for my year 9s!
