You could leave these lights plugged in for hours, grab a bulb and it wouldn't even feel warm, something you could never do with the older incandescent style miniature bulbs.Looked great and accented the tree nicely. Would recommend. ### ⭐ UPDATE: work great so far — NOT *by A***E on November 16, 2021* Nice, solid wires. It’s nice that they sent a few extra bulbs in case I get careless. At the moment they are resting on the top of my kitchen cabinets as a very beautiful multi colored nightlight.UPDATE August 2022: The lights have been going out for months now. Almost all of the lights are dead now. Will not EVER buy again ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comes Closest to Colors/Glow of Incandescents While Getting the Advantages of LEDs *by D***Y on January 1, 2017* They don't put off the same soft glow as incandescent lights, but they are the closest I've seen so far in the LED versions. If the purple light was changed to pink, it would come even closer. But I don't need sunglasses to look at my tree, which has been the case with other LEDs I've used.
