I am Pro-Life. This book is amazing and needed!
As a pro-life woman, I was hesitant to pick up this book but I am an author myself and a bereavement doula and it is important for me to keep an open mind about the many pregnancy losses women experience. I am impressed with the level of honesty Ms. Hrichi put in her book. I felt a true and genuine connection with her. I experienced a first trimester miscarriage (which is what I wrote my book about) and there were many similarities between our stories despite her abortion.I am also an advocate and I teach others how to advocate for their pregnancies and births and I was so angered that she received no education on the choice she was forced to go through. I was shocked and saddened that the choice was made for her because of her age. My heart leapt as she found healing through a support group and I found myself cheering her on during her healing journey.Thank you for breaking the silence and sharing your loss story.

Hope has a name
There are so many lies surrounding abortion: my rating reflects my appreciation for truth behind spoken in a Beautiful Voice. A cursory review on the internet resulted in surprisingly sparse data regarding post-abortion statistics. What I did find suggested that post-abortion trauma is negligible. I personally believe that this isn't true based on encounters and conversation with post-abortive women. Like the author, I accepted lies concerning the definition of life, promised freedom and release from my "mistakes", and assurance that my life would proceed as planned when I was ready.Tonight my pastor and some friends celebrated the lives that God had intended for my children and they received the dignity of having their identities acknowledged by receiving their names. I received the bounty of God's grace and the release of my burden of shame and grief. Praise God for His plan of redemption through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Understood
Shadia bravely tells our story and there is comfort in knowing we are understood and not alone. Going from believing God's love and forgiveness in our head to our heart is where we find freedom. The day I made my "woman's choice" as a 16 year old child I died with my unborn baby. Within months I numbly killed again. 38 years later and two weeks after the healing retreat I finally have the answer to all my "whys" about the decisions I've made all my life. When I destroyed His precious gifts I lost all hope of the love I so desperately wanted. I believed the lie that I'd lost my chance. I recently met my daughters, Amanda and Cassie, in Jesus arms and they saw me through His eyes of forgiveness where I found His love that had been there for me all along.

Nameless No More
The book was captivating and very engaging! I did not want to stop reading about the author's healing journey. I completed the book while on the airplane and between lay overs while on the way to visit family. The author's courage and transparency were amazing and brought tears to my eyes; I praise God for allowing me to "stumble upon" this book! I too am post abortive and had a healing experience using the PACE Bible study, therefore was able to relate to and rejoice with the deliverance that she received!

Need Awareness for Post Abortion Lives
It was a good story of a time in someone's life, that was a major turning point. I am giving it to women friends to read, with hopes that they can see there is hope of escaping destructive behavior and bad life choices, even years later, after abortion.

Good but not a great deal
If you cannot recover from guilt after abortion, this book might help. The author is only telling her story. Some supernatural experiences with her child are mentioned. If you expect to be recovery by a bible centered book, this is not a good option. If you are not christian and don't want to go over bible passages, you can buy it!.

It's Me
I identified in so many things that Shadia went through. It brought back memories and feelings. I thought we're buried.

Recommended Reading
Well written from the heart. Don't want to give away the content, but powerful. Would highly recommend to not only those who have experienced abortion, but those whose lives are touched by someone who is walking through this experience.
