This actually worked and I was able to shower and not let my stitches get wet. Be sure to clean your skin with alcohol before applying the protector. If not, it won't stick fully.

A: They are a firm, thin, transparent plastic dressing. They do not keep water out as advertised. We tried them a few times and the water went right through every time. They just don't stick well and are definitely not waterproof. We got better (although not great) results from waterproof bandaids at Walgreens.

I like this product because it is easy to use and cost effective to cover a large bandage in the shower. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They do work...but

They work, and they are definitely better than AquaGuard, because they actually stick to you. The center is NOT adhesive, so it won't stick to your existing dressing. The outside perimeter is sticky, SUPER sticky and they are a bit tricky to apply alone. I have a port and I got these to shower when I am accessed (like now) and I got the first one on, didn't waste one, but it was a little challenging, but my dressing was dry when I took it off. I got the adhesive on a bit of my dressing and I don't recommend that lol. These protectors are very sticky tho, so if you have really sensitive skin, they may be too much, because they don't peel up easy at all.
