I puncture these to squirt the oil on my dog’s kibble. It doesn’t have a strong smell (although it is fish oil so there is a faint odor). I think it has helped improve my dog’s skin barrier. He still scratches with allergies but his scratching doesn’t injure the skin anymore.

I recommend it; your dog will eat more and his joints will improve in mobility. Omega-3 is very important for health.

Seems to help.3 Bostons taking it a month now. 1 Boston was given Apoquel. The Vet mentioned Omega 3 might help. I started Nordic a month ago. 2 a day 30 lb dog.1 a day 19 lb dog. 1 had scratched and had open wounds. Now they are healed and their skin looks so much better.

So I'm not sure if my dog is just a pig but she loves these. She literally eats it out of my hand. She seems to think it's a treat and some days she won't eat her food without me giving it to her first!🤣

So far so good! My dog used to eat fish-based kibble, but after switching to a red meat–based formula, his stool became noticeably wetter even though we transitioned slowly. For some reason, after starting this omega-3 supplement, his stool is much better shaped and less wet. I originally purchased this for other benefits since my dog is getting older, so the digestion improvement was a really nice surprise. Happy with it so far! The pills are a bit large, so at first I cut one open and mixed the oil with his food. Once he tried the taste, he started swallowing the whole pill with his meals without any problem.(he is a medium sized dog)

These are big soft gels. Let me get that to you right outta the gate. They're huge. My little guy would not take them just as a soft gel. He wouldn't take it if I broke it open and poured it on his food, either (they are smelly when you do that, just FYI). But, if I wrap that thing in cheese....game on! So, once I figured that out, we've had smooth sailing on the huge soft gel front. Now, I got these because he has had so much trouble with his skin. I changed his food (Purina ProPlus for Sensitive Skin & Stomachs-Salmon and Rice version) and that helped. These were a game-changer! After two weeks of 1 soft gel a day (he only weighs 20lbs) the biting stopped. The getting up and down in the middle of the night to dig and scratch all over himself stopped. He had chewed at the base of his tail so much he had a scab there from the constant biting. He was flaky (as if he had dandruff) and although I bathed him monthly (to make sure this wasn't because of fleas, and it was not) his coat was dull, and brittle. He is a beautiful smooth-coated chocolate Doxie/Lab mix (don't ask, where there's a will there's a way) and his coat had been getting worse and worse over time. Once the biting and scratching started I knew this was something I had to deal with quickly. The sore on his tail just did me in. Vet wanted to run all kinds of tests and put him on a prescription (starts with an 'A"). I knew this was a food issue. There are treats he cannot have because they make him itch terribly. I just had to find the right combination to ease up his skin problems. This stuff did the trick. He is shiny, gorgeous and moving like he hasn't in awhile (he'll be 8 this fall-2021) and all around happier and more relaxed. I guess if your skin's not crawling with aggravating sensations, you'd feel better and be more relaxed too! So, highly recommend, five stars, bells, whistles and Celebration with Kool & the Gang because this stuff changed my little dude's life. Oh, and the bottle has lasted me nearly 4 months, just ordered my second one, so definitely has paid for itself...your mileage may vary depending on your dog's weight. If I had to give this to my big 65lb mutt, this might be a different story, but she is a lot tougher than her older brother and has no issues whatsoever. Thank you for this product.
