I have purchased more than one of these ornaments and absolutely love them. The pictures on Amazon are nice, but these are even more beautiful in person. Excellent craftsmanship, very solid, the writing engraved is clear and easy to read. I love the details of the tree, branches, ground cover, little fence -- it all just helps make this such a lovely piece.The purple ribbon that hangs from the top is very vibrant and beautiful. The little trinket hanging from the tree branch actually swings, so there's an added dimension there. The ornament arrived in a purple mesh bag. I have given these as gifts to friends and family who have recently lost a loved one. The saying engraved on the ornament makes this a wonderful keepsake and serves as a reminder that the memories we create with the people we love become that much more valuable when they're gone.I also like that the package comes with a tiny window/glass suction hook. It's nice to hang it from a window or mirror. I would highly recommend this item!

When my mother died, a friend sent this ornament to me as a remembrance. I hung it in my kitchen window where I could see it every day. When a another friend's husband died, I decided to send one to her. She did the same thing, This is sold as a Christmas ornament and could certainly be used that way, but why keep it only for Christmas? It doesn't actually have a Christmas theme, and is a pretty memorial all year around. It's big enough to be a pretty keepsake but small enough not to be obtrusive or showy. I enjoy seeing mine every day and am glad my friend feels the same way.

This is the second ornament I have purchased from The Comfort Company; even more beautiful than the first. Large, beautifully crafted with exquisite detail. The birdhouse dangles for a touching movement. It not only comes is a matching purple organza bag, it contains the story of the company and how it was founded to fulfill a need....sometime they have certainly done. Heart touching and certainly not just for Christmas....this "ornament" will be cherished in a place of honor for years to come for anyone who receives. Today I received a second of this ornament, my favorite of all that The Comfort Company makes. My best friend who had lost his son received the first one, now I have lost my best friend so it is only appropriate that I have a copy of something he cherished. I received in just 2 days - again way ahead of schedule. This company knows the power of recognition of grief.

This is beautiful and extremely high quality. I bought it for a relative that died on Thanksgiving, to give to her widower... Once I received it, I immediately ordered one as a memorial for my mother who had passed. This is just gorgeous, and meaningful to me. LOVE IT!!!

Every year I get an ornament to commemorate a big event in my life, whether good, or bad. My dad passed away at the beginning of 2015, and throughout the year I looked for ornaments that I felt would fit the bill for me. Several months in, I found this ornament, but Amazon did not carry it at the time. Thankfully, around Christmas, it came back in stock!This item is larger than I thought, and has a good weight to it. It's beautifully detailed. My favorite is the small little "birdhouse" hanging from the tree -- it actually moves. It's a lovely ornament and am happy to remember my dad by.

This is a perfect memorial ornament that can either be hung on a Christmas tree or the suction cup can be used and it can be hung on a window year-round. I purchased this ornament for a friend and she loved it. It arrived in a delicate mesh bag. It is very well made and will look amazing forever. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

My father died a few months ago. I saw this & KNEW I had to have it. His remains are buried beside a tree & this was perfect!!It took awhile to receive because the post office is backed up but I didn't care how long it took to get here, I needed it to comfort me. I may order several more to gift to my sisters.
