Review: Compatible with my waterfall fountain - I was looking for a replacement pump for my indoor fountain (Alpine 72" mirror waterfall fountain). I couldn't find a compatible one on the Alpine store page. This looked very similar to the pump in my fountain, so I took a chance and bought it. It fits perfectly and runs quietly as described. The orignal pump started getting loud and finally died out after almost 5 years. Hopefully this will last for a while.

**Q: Can this pump be used in saltwater**
A: Probably Yes because these pumps have operated very well in our birdbath that from time to time is cleaned out with harsh chlorine chemicals and the inner parts of the pump appear to be non-metallic.

**Q: Can this be used to drain a pond ?**
A: If you have a long time.  It is a small pond pump.  Npot meant to use as a drain pump.

**Q: Can you use it for an outdoor shower?**
A: I would think so, although I use it for a bubbling rock which lifts only 3 feet through a 3/4” tube.

**Q: Is there Dry burn protection built into the pump?**
A: I can't remember for sure, but I thought there was.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Where's the feet?"

So far I love the pumps, but one of them showed up without the 4 black rubber feet in the accessory pack. As I use it at the bottom of a water barrel it doesn't matter but Amazon customer service gave me a nice credit on my account as an apology. I didn't want to return a good pump for another good pump w feet so I just kept it as is and got credit offered to me. I'm happy and the pumps work great. They come with different nozzles for different applications and the length of hose is a great value if you need to use it.
