Works as good as any other Wok I have had
The biggest failing with wok's is the coating used, which eventually breaks down due to the high heat used in many dishes. The also have a common trait that temperature control is not that great, given the temperature measuring is done at the element. However with this Wok there is ample control of temperature and as long as you are used to cooking with electric, you should not have any problems. The surface wipes clean easily and as always avoid using metal utensils or scourers.

Gets hot fast on top setting then you can turn it down.
I ordered a Unibos wok. My order said so and I was charged same price as on website. It was bigger than I expected. The sellotape fastening down the box lid was already cut. Delighted it arrived on time. It heats up wonderfully and I made fried eggs with only a tiny bit of fat delicious with toast. Then I spotted the box said Quest and the leaflet said model 35870. On the website the Quest of that model number is cheaper than the price I paid for the Unibos but the reviews were better for the Unibos which is why I chose it.A close look at the wok supposed to be a Unibos and noticed it is identical to the Quest and the power cable says Quest.Well I have eaten my delicious non-greasy fried eggs now.Pros. Gets hot fast, though I don't know if the heat is constant when you cook for a longer time yet. The surface looks thin but with wooden, silicone or nylon utensils it should be ok. You can unplug the mains lead and use wet kitchen roll to wipe clean. The wok is quite deep. It has a small flat surface in the middle and deep curved sides. ideal. The picture does not show depth of the wok (on either the Unibos or the Quest 35870. The idea is you can use it plugged in then unplug the mains lead and carry the wok to the dining table or outside to a outdoor table. The glass lid is ok but be sure you place it just so. I found the lid could slide if it was not placed properly.Cons. It is bigger than I expected. The wok is 13 inches in diameter then you have the handles at each side. We are talking here like the total width is the size of a narrow cooker hob. Probably why it went out to a customer who cut the sticky tape then realised how big the wok is and returned it. It had definitely not been used.My personal view is that the mains cable is too short, it is 38" plus the business end bit. The leaflet says not to use the wok with a multiple outlet strip of extension cable but in my kitchen that will be impossible. The Unibos and the Quest wok may be from the same factory. I paid the extra few pounds for the Unibos which my account says was delivered but the box says Quest 35870. It works. Just hope the reviews that said the Quest heat goes up and down were faults in earlier models. For what I paid I am quite happy. Just thrown out my old cooker that only one ring allowed use of an average sized wok because of the kitchen wall. We shall see.
