Kindergarten Math With Confidence Instructor Guide

My Kindrrgartener and I have been working through this for 6 weeks and we love it. Even though my son had a good math aptitude he still learned something new in the beginning pages. The night before I read through the teacher guide for the next day’s lesson and gather supplies. This takes about 5 minutes. Then we spend about 10Minutes going through the lesson including the workbook page. Sometimes my son asks to do another lesson and those are quick to set up on the spot as well. All lessons are scripted and concepts are explained. We love this program (parent guide and workbook) and highly recommend!

We are loving this curriculum! Initially, as I was flipping through the book, I thought it would be too easy for my kiddo, but we are several lessons in and it’s already challenging her!! Certainly kindergarten level. My five year old thoroughly enjoys it. Easy open and go—and also lots of fun! Looking forward to the first grade curriculum.

I love having this on my Kindle. I wasn’t sure if I’d miss/want a paper copy, but I don’t. I have this on Kindle and the paper workbook for my daughter.

My kindergartener is very busy and energetic and this curriculum is perfect for him! It gives him just enough each day to keep his attention and it is hands-on enough for him to stay engaged the whole time!

I have done this curriculum twice, once with each of my children. Lessons are short, take little preparation, fun, and my children have wonderful number sense from their lessons. They have kept up in math with their school-based friends, and the grandparents have been impressed with their learning, which has made my extended family (that has 3 public school teachers in it!) very pro-homeschool. And I have a child with learning differences.Approved. Love it.

I've been using this book with my Kindergarten and we both absolutely love it! It does a great job of making math fun with a variety of hands-on activities to the point that your children don't even realize they are learning however also incorporates an appropriate amount of writing/workbook activities given the age. I'm really grateful I found this math book for my child. I'd also recommend listening to the author, Kate Snow on the Homeschool Sisters podcast or checking her website out directly...she really knows her stuff.

We are absolutely LOVING this curriculum so far! We are 4 weeks in and my kindergartener asks to do math every day! As a former public educator and former K-12 homeschooled student, I have quite a bit of experience with different curriculum options. This is the best I have experienced! The easy games and activities make it simple for the educator but really do give me CONFIDENCE that my student is getting a good foundation. Thank you Kate Snow!
