The packaging is plastic
The barrettes are fine -- they do the job. But this is the second product I've ordered from Bhavancrystals and both have been wrapped doubly in entirely unnecessary plastic! Also, the product should have been marked: 'made in China'! The sources of all products should be listed on Amazon.
