Anyway, these tips were such a good purchase! I'm up in Maine where it was super wet and snowy, these tips functioned admirably. They have way more contact with the ground so I feel much more stable when crutching around everywhere, and they absorb way more of the impact when moving so it's just way comfier. Overall I'd highly recommend purchasing these crutch tips, they are such an improvement over the basic ones that come with regular crutches. At $60 I know they look steep, I really pondered the purchase, but then again for 13 weeks it comes out to $4.6 per week! While both are heavier than a standard cane and tip, it offers me stability and comfort with walking and using staircases The bottom of the tip shows hardly any wear after 3 months. In the rain and slushy surfaces, it is pretty slip resistant. At over $60 for 2 tips, it costs more than most tips. But if it saves me from a fall, then it's worth it.
