I use these jars for kitchen staples. I was hoping that this one would be the same size as my other 2 jars, it is not. This jar is smaller. However, it matches the other 2 so it is a keeper.

I bought 2 jars. They came completely intact and were packaged fine for transit. I planned to use them to hold sugar and flour on my countertop, so it was important that they sealed well. The plastic ring around one lid slid off when I opened it, but after letting it sit for a day, the lids worked fine, so I think it was just misshapen from the heat during shipping (I live in SC). For functionality, they work great and a full measuring cup (and my hand) fits well for scooping into the jars.I wish I had looked more closely and noticed the peanut shape as the lid handle and the large “peanuts” embossing on the sides- but I just turn the writing to the sides so I see a clear jar. It’s cute, just not what I would have picked for something that’s always on display in my kitchen. Also, they are very squared off on the sides and not truly a round jar as the picture shows. But they work great and are the right size for what I wanted. I’m keeping them.

and it has a rubber seal. And the handle is shaped like a peanut, so that's fun. I bought this to hold 5 lbs of sour patch kids I impulse-bought from a Facebook ad. It did the job and now that it's nearing emptiness, way way sooner than i care to admit, I assure you that no I shall not buy more sour patch kids because that deliciousness is not worth the immense shame I feel after eating that many sour patch kids in such a short span of time. I suppose I can use it to hold my tears now and it should keep them as fresh as it kept the sour patch kids.

This will keep your foods fresh. Due to its size, the somewhat little peanut handle make it a little challenging to get the lid off; but I’d rather have that challenge than a less air tight jar. Cute, well-made.

It's great! The size is perfect to hold plenty of candy, and the opening is wide enough to dig around in the jar a bit. The vacuum seal is also great and effective - I had a mouse make an appearance not too long ago (yikes, i know), and he paid no attention to all of the candy in the jar which means it must work!

I did not notice the word peanuts on it when looking at it with all the candy inside I'm keeping anyway because of my time constraint it is not mentioned in the description
