I assume calcium or something possibly for increased hatch rate. What I do know is that I brew brine shrimp every day and I was not expecting such a noticable difference. Out of 3-4 different brands and sources I've tried this product impressed me with how many brine shrimp hatched. Price seems to be pretty good aswell, I used to spend around $15 for only 25g.
