Used for tortoise enclosure, love it
I purchased this as the bottom tray to my tortoise enclosure. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on enclosures and some people used bags for easy clean up or flex seal, but I thought I'd use a crate tray for ease and longevity. The tray i purchased is 4ftx2ft and the enclosure is pretty big for my growing tortoise. My husband custom built an closure based off the tray and it's fabulous and not cheap like other pet store "cages."

It works
If you have a pet like mine that can’t be trained. This has worked. I put it on my balcony and now she goes on the grass patch.

Great plastic pad.
I use this for my dog’s pee pads. Works great! I just wash in shower with antibacterial soap and rinse. Very strong plastic!

Reduce the Smell of Fake Grass
Pretty expensive for a plastic tray, but is the perfect size for the pieces of sod sold at home improvement stores. It is sturdy, contains the dirt and pee and fresh grass can be changed out and recycled in green waste. We bought the larger size for our balcony and it works for both our 3 and 7 month old puppies. They both potty trained quickly using this. Very convenient!

Tray is excellent for sod, fits perfectly!
I recently enclosed my small patio to protect my four chihuahuas from coyotes. So now the issue how do they pee? They were raised on grass outside not pee pads and I wanted them to continue going out of there doggie door and have an area to sunbathe. Bought the tray and run to Home Depot for the grass at $6, it’s PERFECT. Most of the time they do their business on the grass, not 100% but we are working on it, but they do go 100% all of them outside the house and that was the goal. So far used for one month. The tray fits a 2x4 piece of sod perfectly. Sure I still have clean up, I rinse the patio with pool water every morning, I do have to pick up the poop or else they won’t use it. I just changed the grass today , bleached the tray, rinsed good and put in the fresh grass. Sure it’s work but so much easier than pee pads, and my cleanup has decreased somewhat. I think I still have one dog who is rogue, who just poops everywhere in the patio, but we will get there. And it looks so much better than pee pads. I water the grass every couple of days, I even cut the grass once. But by 4-5 weeks it’s best to change it. If the tray wears out due to harsh weather I would definitely buy again! The tray does have a good lip to hold in urine and water from watering it. Best of all the dogs have a place to sun, and a place to do their business outside the house.*** update ****. sod became too hard to get locally. so I bought some fake grass, cut it to size, and put 2 pee pads underneath one xxl and one regular size. I think the live grass got them used to it, so when I switched it, dogs were ok with it. I clean once a week now with enzyme or bleach, pick up poop daily, or several times daily. Working from home makes it easier to pick up poop,, but if I ever go back full-time, I'll buy another tray for them.

Works for what we needed
We ordered this to put the grass on it for our new puppy . The tray could definitely be cheaper .. it’s just a generic tray no holes . You can find cheaper somewhere else . The grass is green plush grass . It comes in handy since we can’t have her in public places yet.

Great for holding pet grass patches
I bought the grass patches first and it was really messy without the gray. This gray holds two of the bigger patches. Very easy to use and practical!

No drainage for rain water, smelly
Good idea but there is no drainage so when it rains or if you have a larger dog that urinates a lot, the tray just fills up with urine and water and starts to smell, and your dog won’t step on it.
