Great book that allowed me to shift my mindset!

I can't begin to express how this book is changing my views and my heart. I finally found the answers to some of the questions I've had for a while and which I'd been looking to answer. Emmet Fox is practical but solid. I've read from A Course in Miracles to Abraham-Hicks and I hadn't been able to a) understand how to really apply their messages b) much less make practical changes in my life for the better. In my opinion, Emmet Fox explains the heart of the concepts and also how to apply them in practical terms. I have no particular religious adherence and I find this very appealing... I am definitely a fan of Emmet Fox's teachings and will continue to purchase his books and had read other of his books but I think this one takes the cake in terms of how complete it is in how it explains scientific prayer and how to actually do it. Now I understand why some of the other 'stuff' (Angels, affirmations, etc.) didn't work for me... Very thankful for this book and seeing changes in the way I feel right away. Just finished reading so, hopefully will start to see changes in my 'physical reality' if I continue to apply myself in raising my consciousness...

Every person on the earth owes it to themselves to read this book. I go to it over and over again. It helps make sense of life. If you are having difficulties or just looking for some inspiration - this is the read for you. Emmet Fox is gifted. He sees life through a very clear pair of eyes. If it wasn't for this book, I would not have been able to forgive, raise my conscious thoughts, and move on with my life. It brought me to a better place. If you are Christian - you will love this. It re-instates all that we believe to be. I only wish I knew about this book when I was younger (I'm 51). Perhaps my life would have been different if I had changed my thought process as the book teaches you. Just a note; the vocabulary may be taxing at times. Make a list of the whatever words you are not familiar with, make a list and page number, and then look them up and re-read the paragraph (especially with Bible terms). I have three college degrees, however, Emmet Fox himself actually suggest some chapters to be read over for a better understanding (the golden key). Best of luck to all of you who make the purchase.

This book may change some negative views of GOD If you have any. And it will definitely open your mind about some things. One of those things is reincarnation which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I am just not sure about that.

What a mind awakening book. I've read some chapters over again just to get another outlook on the matter. I really appreciate the ending of the book with spiritual keys on how to keep positive thinking and connections with the Universal Mind, family, friends, humanity, and the love of God.Appreciate this knowledge.

Other reviewers have done a masterful job of explaining and praising the works of Mr. Fox, therefore I will only add this...I like one reviewer have many books on paths to spirituality. After years of reading, study and research I have found not one text or one writer that comes close to the wisdom found in Mr. Fox's writings. I have an old paperback version of this title that was given to me ages ago. Over the years I have read it put it away and gone on to other books. But I always find my way leading back to Mr Fox's material. In my many years of studying metaphysics and world religions I have never found a body of work so elegantly and beautifully written that speaks to the human spirit as the writings of Mr. Fox. His material is the map that my soul follows to spiritual growth and finding peace. This reads as a simple statement but it is the guidebook that has enabled me to overcome enormous obstacles and problems from the past as well as the present and I know any that may appear in the future.Due to my poor old paperback's condition I have added this version to my K. Fire as well added a new paperback copy to my library of titles by Emmet Fox. This book comes with my highest recommendations. Note to new readers of Mr. Fox, his writings were first published in forms of pamphlets and this book as his other titles are collections of such. It is wonderful to have the material in this format. His writings can still be found in pamphlet form.

Sin duda hay que creer en Dios para leer este libro. Emmet Fox tiene una visión muy iluminada de Dios y todo lo que dice es tremendamente reconfortante. Si en algún momento lo has probado todo y no consigues animarte, léelo. Te hará recobrar la alegría de vivir. Fox es un hombre del hoy y no trata la religión desde un punto de vista convencional. Cree solo en el Díos interior. Sus interpretaciones de la Biblia son también muy reveladoras. Me parece un hombre sabio y lamento no haber podido vivir en su época. Me habría desplazado a Nueva York para oírlo en directo.

As soon as I had finished reading the first chapter entitled 'The Wonder Child', I knew I had discovered something very precious. I read the book from cover to cover and it has changed my life completely. The relationship between man and God is an eternal relationship and Emmet Fox reveals this profound truth in the most beautiful way. There is no argument, there is no debate, God is , was and will be and it is for man to at last realise this truth. I have read countless books after reading this one and they all support the wisdom presented by Emmet Fox. Within us is a power, a God given power and when we acknowledge this power we at once realise it is from God; it is love; it is truth. Although references are from the bible this book is not just for Christians as the truth within it transcends religions and all other forms of limitation, God is one, his power, knoweldge, might and love is for all nations and all time. When we confront all our limitations of thought we embark on a great battle for freedom where our goal is to see how God sees his creation and God is not limited. Thank you Emmet Fox for opening my mind to this truth.
