They fit great, they're super breathable (although probably not the pick for a cold environment), they don't weigh me down on the wall, and they've lasted me an entire year. Front pockets are deep and have a horizontal opening, which prevents anything from falling out. Zippable pocket is great for a wallet. I've got nothing but praise. Highly recommend! Review: Good product - The waist fit was a little more snug than expected but certainly not too tight. Super lightweight and ideal for hiking.

Good lightweight hiking pants
Very pleased with these, 4.5 stars (if I could do that). Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Lightweight, good fit for me (Iโm 6โ 3โ with a 34 waist) and the pant legs are roomy enough which was my one of my main concerns prior to purchasing. Very comfortable to hike in. Large, deep pockets. Pretty much everything Iโm looking for in convertible hiking pants. Cons: Belt buckle wasnโt very secure and tended to loosen slowly while wearing (I ended up switching to a different belt). Iโm fairly tall yet the zip off location is barely above my knee making the shorts a bit longer than Iโd like. They have mesh pockets, which wore holes quickly on my other pants (different brand), though I canโt speak for the durability on these yet. Hopefully these last longer. The cons are all minor and wonโt be an issue for me. Iโll probably be buying second pair.

Durable, comfortable, flexible hiking pants
These have become my "go to" hiking pants. They've held up with some minor bushwhacking as well as about 200 miles of backpacking since I bought them. They are comfy, the pockets are useful, they are lightweight, and the zip-off feature is nice. I backpack, and the flexibility in having these be shorts or long pants is helpful in reducing my weight carried, whether in the pack or worn. I circled back today to see how much I paid for them and also to buy another pair in a different color. Obviously, I would buy them again. I'm a 40 mostly, but I'm getting a 38 this time. These are flexy at the waist, but maybe I'm getting into better shape, too. Walking regularly with a pack up and down hills will do that. You may be able to size down a bit, though.

Great quality, poor fit
I really wanted to like these pants. I'll start with the negative and sizing issues first: I went through two pair (I am 5'11", 190lbs). In jeans and REI cargo pants I typically wear 36 x 34 comfortably with a belt. First, I purchased the 36 size but I found that the waist was way too big. Plus the belt was too long. It comes with a nice clip that holds the extra length but it went all the way around my side. The length was also...meh...not great, but in boots and my regular shoes I could deal with it. I quickly returned it and exchanged for 34x34. When I received this size the waist was perfect. The rise in the crotch was also a better fit...but oddly the belt was still the same length! What was worse was the inseam/leg length as shown in the pictures: I was flooding! I was surprised how much shorter they were considering I just went down one waist size. I checked their size chart and saw that the inseam lengths are really, _really_ short and not linear to the expected waist size, IMO. To give you an idea, the overall change in length/inseam from a size 30 to 38 waist is only 1.5 inches!! I would expect a ratio to be greater than that. And perhaps the sizing does work for some people, given some of the other reviews, YMMV. On to the positives and what DID work: The pockets! The comfort! These pants breathed great and yet shed moisture really well on the day that I did wear them. I do believe that they are made of sturdy, durable quality that would last. The material is thin but strong and breathable. The pockets are fully functional and well-placed: I carry both an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy S21 in Spigen Cases and they fit fine in both lower pockets OR upper front pockets while sitting in a vehicle comfortably. I carry two sets of keys with me and it was a bit more constant putting the second set in the lower pocket but they is still ample room for "pokey" stuff in upper pockets. There is a bit of stretch too. I didn't use tar pockets as much so can't say. Overall, I would give the pants a B+ but knocking a bit off personally for the fit not working on not one, but two pairs of pants that I expected should fit. Check the size chart closely. Also...I noticed and shopped around and SEVERAL convertible/zip-off pants sold here have similar sizing, so buyer be ware. I just found and purchased a pair that DID work: Gash Hao Mens Hiking Convertible Pants. I highly recommend them for TRUE fit and to give you an idea they allow you to choose your exact waist AND leg measurement. :)

Exactly as Described
Fit was slightly tighter than my usual 40s but could be just the cut/fabric. Feels like quality fabric. No more sunburned legs on the lake in a canoe! Will update the review as for durability after a few trips with them.

Lightweight Stretch Material
It's important for the consumer to understand the fabric is very lightweight, though durable. Best of all, the fabric has a lot of stretch. For me this is a good thing which makes it a great summer pant/short which is a perfect combination for bicycling. The stretch waistband is very helpful. Belt could be of better quality - perhaps with more stretch properties, but I've found a great belt for that elsewhere here on Amazon that I have been using. Overall, for this price point these are a great option for me. I am 6ft tall 225lbs with a bit of a belly (working on it every year.) and size 36 is working well for me. Ordering two more for backup.

Great for traveling
Purchased 3 pairs. Use it for a window cleaning work and love it. Lots of pockets, quick dry. The only wish I had that the shorts would be a bit shorter. Also be careful with the zippers. They are somewhat delicate. Good looking and great for travelling. The belt itโs not solid, but good for airport screening!

A little thin but good pants!
They have my husband's approval! They are pretty decent just a little on the thinner side with the material
