POFET Bike Spoke Tension Meter Measurement Tool Gauge Al Alloy CNC Accurate Fits All Spokes

Nicely made tool. Hard to see the benefit of spending much more than this from other brands to do the same job. This tool found which of my spokes were much looser or tighter than others, but it turned out that I also really needed a wheel truing stand to fix my wheel. So, I'm not convinced on how useful one of these tools are, but at least this is a good example of this tool at a great price.

Works well on large sized wheels but will not fit a 20" or smaller. I used it in conjunction with the Park Tools free on line tool app.

If you're not used to truing wheels for a living, this kit is brilliant. Didn't know what tensions were needed, so the table included was brilliant. Started by resetting all the spokes to recommended tension, then used a cheap truing tool to check the truing alignment, then used the tension tool to incrementally correct the wheel. Took it to a bike mechanic to check and he said it was a great job without expensive equipment. Have since trued the wheels about 5 times so have saved a lot of money. Be aware it requires a LOT of patience, as each spoke will need checking in turn.

Very simple to use with a helpful guide and spoke guage guide. I was able to use it to help tension my wheels evenly and to spec. Wery happy with this.

Can't say if accurate because I don't have anyway of Checking that so I just go off its numbers and match the rest of the spoke to each other and set 1.0 lower than the rims max spoke Tension recommended by the manufacturer.

Tool gives repeatable readings, provided you place it on the same part of spoke every time. As a device for getting even tension across a rim, its more than adequate for this home mechanic. Very pleased, well done👍

So much cheaper than the park tool version. Worked really well when building my first wheel set. Didn't let me down, and I was able to use this in conjuntion with a truing stand to create 2 really true and strong wheels. Great tool to keep around for wheel building. Would recommend.
