Almost White, Haven't Used Yellow Yet
I did not use the Champagne Yellow milk paint that I bought because it ended up being closer to a white color than a yellow and I wanted more yellow pigment when mixing the milk paints I already had on hand. I did enjoy using milk paints by amy howard. I used milk paints in creating the look on my tv stand (in pic). I would recommend practicing the paints. They can work differently depending on the surface and if you are using a "primer" paint or not. I used One Step from Amy Howard to prime the furniture before using the milk paint and gresso products by her.

Vibrant color
Easy to use pigment powder with a matte finish. Colors are rich and true to description. Works best with an added bonding agent.

BUYER BEWARE - IF REVIEWS MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU, AVOID THIS PRODUCT!
After purchasing this product, I came to discover that a special binder was required in order for the paint to adhere to certain surfaces. Annoying, but fine. I had to order the binder directly from their website, not through Amazon, because they don't sell the binder on Amazon. I wonder why... The binder cost me an additional $39 (with shipping). After the binder arrived, I was over-budget but ready to get this project completed. After mixing the water, paint powder, and binder exactly as instructed on the packaging, I was unfortunately left with nothing but a runny, sloppy mess. The paint then did not adhere to the crib that I was trying to paint. The really annoying part of this ordeal came after I tried to request a refund. After describing my problem, the customer service added insult to injury by claiming that I probably mixed the paint wrong. They suggested that I should have watched the YouTube videos on their product to learn how to properly use it. My problem with that suggestion is this: why put instructions on the packaging about how to use the product if additional YouTube videos are required? The packaging didn't say anything about needing to watch a video. Telling me to watch a YouTube video only after the product fails according to package instructions seems unfair. I had already used all the powder and therefore can't mix it again. You know what, I suppose the company is totally within their right to deny my refund request, as my request fell outside of the 30 day refund window. With the business of life and having to wait additional time for them to ship their binder to me, I didn't get the opportunity to paint the crib for our baby until after the 30 day window. But, one has to ask oneโs self: Shouldnโt their product work more than 30 days after it was ordered? What am I supposed to do to prove to this company that their product is defective? Unmix it and mail it back? Send back an empty package or bottle? Look, I know there are lots of people out there who return products for no reason. I know there are those in the universe who can't accept responsibility for their inability to follow directions. All I can say to you, the potential consumer, is that I am not one of them. I genuinely received either a defective product or one with instructions that are improperly written. The company refuses to refund me. (As a side note, you can tell a lot about a company by the way their representatives conduct themselves. The person I corresponded with through Amazon was unable to spell. This is a small matter, but to me, it reflects poorly on the company as a whole. Inattention to small details like spelling suggests inattention to other details, like producing a consistent and quality product.) I will not be buying anything made by Amy Howard at Home again and I recommend that you look elsewhere for whatever it is that youโre looking to buy. I was really just looking for a refund for this product. Since they were unwilling to grant that, if I can dissuade at least a few other people from wasting their money, that will be enough for me.

You must stir the paint each time you dip your brush.
I like the old world finish and the milk paint does a great job.

Not as expected
If you buying this paint for the chippy effects go somewhere else. I love Amy Howard's products for years but this paint just won't give you expected from the milk paint effect. After several tries I decided to do little test and used this paint over waxed wood. The paint sticked to it as well, no chipping lol
