Thought it was too small ... NOT
It was smaller than I thought it would be when I opened the package - but it works great, even with the larger dishes. The scale we have used and liked for years, now limping along with electric tape patches, is no longer made. Bought another with good reviews but the readings were not as accurate and fluctuated when material being weighed was hot. This scale works great!! Larger plate is just pushed back a bit so can see readout. Would recommend.

Scale is off by about 400%
Not accurate at all. A quarter should weigh 5.67 grams. According to this scale, a quarter weighs 24.3 grams. A penny should weigh 2.5 grams, but when you place it upon this Made in China scale, it comes out to 10.9 grams. Everything is off by a magnitude of roughly 4x. I guess the old adage applies: if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't. Anyone else find it curious that this items has so many 5-star reviews? Hmmm...

Misleading product photos & Attempting to Delete Negative Reviews
Update: Since they asked for reviews in a slip in the box I thought okay I might as well review the product. Turns out its a bit of a scam. They claim they want honest feedback and are offering gift cards for reviews. Frankly I would have reviewed it if they had just asked normally, but once you actually review it they then attempt to get you to change or delete your review if it's negative. Therefore I have dropped the review from two stars to one. This is really questionable behavior. It's one thing to offer to assist with an issue it's another to ask you to help them delete your review outright. In the products picture they list its features and claim it will weigh up to 22 lbs which is not the case. It only weighs up to 6.6 lb. It’s also irritating that they made the size of the scale rather unclear in the product images by putting both strawberries and entire bowls of salad onto the scale in their images and having both the salad and strawberry appear about the same size. Which is very questionable but since it had good reviews I decided that it was worth a try, however, the one that I received isn’t working properly and is having issues with the tare function.

3 weeks then breaks 💔
Was great for the first 3 weeks but now just says hello for 60 seconds and shuts off

Way off.
Maybe the scale arrived broken, but I weight 10 oz of fish on it, after I tared, and it first registered at about 3oz. Then it slowly started counting up for about a minute and eventually hovered around 6oz. I have some precision weights, 5g, 50g, 500g, and I weighed them too. Still way off, registering about 60% the weight of the 500g one.

Precise and reproducible
I previously bought a similar scale but its accuracy and reproducibility were terrible with small masses, so I returned it and bought this one. I'm very happy with it. I tested it with pennies and it had no problem indicating the proper weights, returning to zero when they were removed, and returning to the same value when the pennies were replaced. It didn't matter where on the scale I put the coins, the readings were the same. One use we have for the scale is weighing felt-tipped marking pens when we refill them with ink - a full pen weighs a known amount, so they can be topped off accurately by weighing. The scale is precise enough to show the weight of the pens to plus-or-minus 0.2 grams. The orientation of the pen on the scale did affect the readings very slightly. At the other end of the spectrum, the scale is useful in the kitchen for weighing ingredients. Some recipes I have list weights in addition to volumes. Flour can vary enough in mass for a given volume that it can mess up a cake. I discovered that by measuring flour by the cup I was actually coming up a bit short - by about 10 percent, which noticeably affects the batter. I feel that measuring by weight with the scale will give me more consistent results. Just as a test, I put a five pound bag of flour on the scale, and it had no problem with it. Repeating the measurement multiple times with the same bag produced the same weight reading on the scale - a good sign.It was useful in weighing portions of dough when making tortillas, or really any other thing where uniformity is desired. The precision of the scale (0.01 ounce, or 0.1 gram) is a bit of overkill for this use, as the scale registered changes in weight as I added or subtracted small pinches of dough to what was being weighed. It's also possible to determine if the graduations on measuring cups are accurate. The markings on, say, 2- and 4- cup pyrex measuring cups may not be as accurate as one would like, but by weighing the container and then adding water you can see if the graduations are off.I also found it useful when I water my cyclamen plant, which is in a five-inch pot. I have had trouble in the past knowing when to water it - it can go from erect, healthy looking blossoms to drooping blossoms within a span of two hours. Hefting the pot or feeling the soil wasn't working very well for me. But now I can put the pot on the scale and know when it needs watering, and from the rate it uses water (yes, I graphed it) I can also tell how many more days it can go before the next watering. To sum up, I was pleasantly surprised by the scale's accuracy, precision, reproducibility, and range, especially for such a modestly priced scale.

Smaller than expected but that's a good thing for space saving and it works great!
When I first received the scale I thought it is a lot smaller than expected, its about the size of 1/4 piece of 8.5 x 11 paper, but then I thought that's a good thing because it fits in the kitchen drawer when I'm not using it and its flat so I can put larger things on it and it works fine. I weighed a 5lb box on it today with no problems (I had to do the math from ounces to pounds but that's ok for the price. It has a nice plastic protector over it so it won't get messed up when not in use and it came with the required batteries which is a huge plus. It works exactly as described, for the price, you won't go wrong with this one.

Accurate and compact
I’ve had the scale for about a week and have really enjoyed using it. I don’t have any test weights to check the accuracy of the scale directly but the mass measured by the scale when I measure out a cup of yogurt (for example) lines up well with what is on the food label where they provide you both volume and mass per serving. The readout is backlit and very clear. The scale itself is compact but it holds all my Pyrex bowls I’ve used for measuring out portions, so I have no complaints there. Overall extremely pleased with this product so far.
