Gripping, suspenseful mystery full of non-stop action!
What I've Done is the fourth book in the Morgan Dane mystery, suspense series. This is a gripping story that kept me guessing as to who the killer was.Morgan Dane is a fascinating character who is fearless and persistent in getting at the truth in all her cases as a lawyer. She will stop at nothing to fight for her clients' innocence unless they are guilty. Her latest client is a young woman who has been arrested for murder of a man when she is found with blood on her hands at the man's home. She doesn't remember what happened but can't believe that she would have killed him. There are so many suspects, twists and turns and unexpected events that happen to keep the readers wondering who, what, and why. There is also non-stop action with some romance thrown in for good measure. It kept me on the edge of my seat as each scene was played out. This was a thoroughly enjoyable book and an excellent series that I will keep going back to for more adventure, suspense, and mystery. I highly recommend this series.

One of better of Melinda Leigh or Kendra Eliot type books.
Starts a little slow. Then picks up with several good twists and turns and a great surprise ending. Character development in the author's series is very good. So by book four you really feel like you know the main characters.I got this through Kindle Unlimited program and then listened primarily on Audible.

I love Melinda Leigh
I love the Morgan Dane series, actually I love all of Melinda Leigh's and Kendra Elloit's books. I really enjoy the stories, they keep me wanting to read, I don’t want to put them down! Also, I like how they keep a lot of the same characters mixed into their series.

Morgan and Lance help a girl with no memory of an alleged murder
Book 4 in the Morgan Dane series picks up about 4 months after its predecessor. If you haven't read the previous books, you can probably get away without doing so as the author does a solid job of not leaving any spoilers for previous books (even though this annoys me sometimes as I've forgotten what's happened lol). However, the characters are quite established by this point so you might not get as great a feel for them having not started at the beginning and some minor events are referred to.Sharp, Lance's partner, is taken back to his past when his murdered former partner's wife from the police force comes to his PI agency for help. Her daughter, Haley, has been arrested on the charge of murder for allegedly stabbing a young man she had left a club with. Haley is in an almost catatonic state and has no memory of what has happened apart from waking in the dead man's house covered in blood and finding him already deceased in the back yard. Unfortunately, it's too late for a drug test to be positive and the evidence is piling up against her, leaving Morgan and Lance with the tricky task of piecing everything together. As they get closer to a break through, it's clear that at least one other person is trying to stop their investigation. There's the angry brother of the deceased showing violent tendencies, repeated attempts on Morgan and Lance's life, flashbacks from Haley and a short list of shady characters whose stories don't quite add up. On top of that, Morgan has social media to contend with when she's filmed getting king hit in the middle of the courthouse by a volatile client. This book has all of the components I love about this series. There's great dialogue and chemistry between Morgan and Lance, a solid host of secondary characters, suspense, intrigue and mystery that keeps me turning pages as quick as I can get to them. The whodunit in this case was a little predictable (not all aspects, though), but it was still a great read. I found myself getting a bit frustrated in the first part of the book as Morgan is targeted a couple of times. Having read the previous books, this seems to be getting a bit repetitive to the point where I was wondering if she'll ever get a break. Lance can't seem to get a leg up, either, and an unfortunate (but convenient story-wise) event has him moving in with Morgan and her family, causing them to take the next step in their relationship. Some of the evidence the PI agency gathered seemed to contain a lot of coincidences that neatly tied Haley's case to that of another missing woman. This moved the story along but it was a tad convenient. The ending (not case related) was both sweet and surprising and although it wasn't a cliffhanger, it left me ready to jump into the next book. Needless to say, I'll definitely be continuing with this series.

Full of mystery and suspense!
This book has more of the wonderful characters in this series and great mystery and suspense with twists along the way. There is a LOT going on in this book. At times it was hard for me to keep it all in mind. I do love this series.

Recommend!
I usually don’t like the sequels but the first one was so good that I gave it a chance and glad I did. I’m on the 4th in the series and still loving it!

Best who dunnit you are ever going to read
Melinda Leigh has written her best novel yet. It has excellent lead characters and a beautifully crafted script. Whilst there is action and bravery there is also well developed, believable relationships between the characters. Outstanding.

What I've done
What I really find bothering is to read the characters' descriptions over and over again.Shouldn't you know all the characters by now since it's the 4th book of the same series that you are reading?I am getting tired of rereading who Morgan, Lance, Sharp, Grandpa and all the others are....

What I've Done
Melinda Leigh' s writing skills and story line had me rivveted to this book right from page one. A young girl awakens, covered in blood and finds her friend Noah has been stabbed to death. She has no recollection of what has happened. Proving her innocence is the Defence Lawyer's job. This is a thrilling tale not to be missed. Highly recommended.
