My old vents had 1.5" collars, which stuck up into the ducts at least a half-inch and that had to restrict air flow. These, at .25", definitely don't do that.The ability to close them off completely is a great feature! It helps direct air-flow to where you actually need it to be.These took probably 5 minutes per vent to replace the old ones. Hardest part was cleaning up all the mess that falls out when you remove the old one.I'm thrilled with my purchase.

The original vents in our Jayco broke. Even though the vents supposedly are "moveable", they were always difficult to turn which resulted in snapping the inside piece that allows vent to open and close. I ordered these to replace the originals and these fit perfectly! We didn't even have to remove the original ring, we just pulled out the broken piece and popped these into the existing base plate.A few things to note. There are NO instructions. Getting the old vents out is a challenge since there is no good way to pop the tabs loose. I wound up having to break out the louvers and broke one tab off completely in order to be able to get a screwdriver in far enough to pop the other 2 tabs loose on one side. Then popping this new piece into place was also a bit of a challenge as the ceiling has some flex to it so it was difficult to get enough pressure to make the tabs pop over the lip.We finally got it done with the help of one tenacious teenage daughter who refuses to admit defeat.One other note is the opening/closing of these vents is quite stiff. I was afraid it would break before it would open. I'm not sure why but it seems there is something stopping the vent from opening. It took quite some coaxing to finally get the vent to open and it's still very stiff compared to the original vents. I'm assuming this will loosen up with use. However, the old vents also didn't stay open. The slightest movement in the RV and the vent would snap closed. SO maybe this stiffness is intentional to prevent that from happening. Since these two vents are in the bedroom where they will always be open, I don't think this is a big problem.These new ones do seem to turn a little more easily than the ones we replaced so hopefully we won't break them.

The vents in my new camper are not adjustable. I bought these as a direct replacement. They are easy to install and work great. Now all of my vents are adjustable.

These were a perfect OEM matching upgrade for my Forest River Wolf Pack. Love being able to shut off a vent if we don't want it now. Also, this is the whole assembly. Faceplate and mounting plate. Good to have back ups now I guess

Replaced all the OEM vent covers (non-adjustable) with these. I finally get the airflow in my camper where I want it by adjusting the airflow at each vent. Also get much better air flow from each vent when these are wide open compared to the slanted OEM ones.

This product was a perfect fit for the vents in my 2022 Rockwood 2608 trailer
