These capsules have an immediate effect on your digestive system. At the beginning, I took one pill after each meal to start. I noticed an immediate change - less water retention, less bloating, very regular BMs. Now I take two capsules after one meal/day (usually lunch) to keep things regular. The capsules are smelly but you do not notice this when swallowing them. Highly recommend this enzyme if you are looking for a supplement. Very potent and effective results.

Easy to swallow...helps with IBS C

This stuff rivals the power of battery acid. It seems like you could swallow 8 ounces of lead shot and this would make you feel better in 15 minutes. I have been using this product for years and it never fails me. I usually take two of these with one Tums.One proviso. I would seek advice from a physician if you have a gastric ulcer.

Very gentle on my belly, and AIP friendly. I highly recommend this combo of betaine (to increase stomach acid) and digestive enzymes if you're dealing w autoimmunity or leaky gut.I'm currently researching a switch to gentian as I hear long term digestive enzyme use might lead to a dependancy whereas gentian supposedly helps promote your own enzyme production.
