InVade Bio Drain 1 Gallon (Original Version)

After battling fruit flies for over a year to no avail and seriously having them mess with my mental health - I used this on my bathroom sink drains, shower drains, and kitchen drain and I stop seeing fruit flies within a week. I’m still in disbelief because I have been dealing with them for over a year and nothing worked. The boiled water didn’t work the gobbler stuff didn’t work. Nothing worked except this. FYI, it’s been over a month now and still no fruit flies. It’s honestly a miracle.

Stuff works

July 31st we ordered and August 1, 2023 arrived Invade Bio Drain. We were having an invasion of small flies (not sure if they were gnats or phorid flies). We purchased different kinds of devices to control these pesky visitors.The last device is pictured here. This trap would quickly fill up and we would have to replace it every other day (see photo).At wits end, we searched the internet and came across this product, Invade Bio Drain. We followed the instructions of every other day and started seeing results in the first week of using it in every drain (including the dishwasher). Now here we are, August 29, 2023 and we barely see anything flying around (see 3rd photo; this has been this clean since yesterday. Previous to using Invade Bio Drain, this trap would have looked like the first photo by now).Now we are using Invade Bio Drain once a week I guess for preventative measures?The only thing I disliked was not having something to dispense the Invade Bio Drain as instructed. Do not pour this straight down the drain. Make sure to pour this so that it is coating the sides of the pipe. But I see photos of squeeze bottles used by other consumers that look like it helps on the application and coating the walks of the pipe.Not crazy with the price but after being inundated with small flies, we would give an arm and a leg to stop the invasion.But this was a GREAT purchase for us!

This gets rid of drain flies! It also has a very nice smell.

We have a septic tank inside our facility, and this product, just didn’t work on the drain flies that were hatching out like crazy …. Not sure if it’s the size of the tank, or what, but can’t give more stars at this time. Maybe for drains it’s okay, but not for our needs. We put 1gallon down the septic drain over a weeks period followed up by another week, and it made no difference in the amount of drain flies.

After dealing with a drain fly issue for the past few months, it's now finally gone, thanks to this product. Before purchasing this product, I wasted well over $100 on several bottles of various Green Gobbler products, none of which worked. What a waste of time and money! However, this product certainly does the trick, if you follow the directions, are consistent with it, and can be patient. It has taken me between 4-5 applications of this product to be finally rid of this problem. Here's a tip: buy a couple of those blue light insect traps, which will help you capture the adult flies. This only solves the larvae issue in the drains, but you will need to employ other methods to kill the ones that are flying around your house. It's too bad that they don't offer this at the major hardware stores. They only offer the Green Gobbler junk, which did not work for me at all.

So far this seems like a reliable and eco-friendly solution for keeping my drains clean and odor-free. Easy to use and appears to be long-lasting. Recommended.

I purchased this in the past, and it worked great. The description claimed it was “original formula” so I bought it again to fight a new infestation. The product received was a pale orange color vs the deep vibrant orange the original was. The first time the product cleared out the infestation after 3 (three) applications. This time the product is gone, but not the infestation. Plus this purchase was over twice the price of the original purchase. I would no longer recommend this product to anyone, anywhere….
