I have dark thick straight hair which I cut short during my teenage years and early twenties. It was easy to maintain and only needed very little gel if any to style my hair. Starting in my late twenties, I grew my hair longer and I have experimented through 10-20 types of hair products to style my hair and hold its shape during the day. Some worked great after I had my hair freshly cut, but didn't hold to the task after 2-3 weeks. Others would not hold throughout the day, and my hair would flatten at the end of the day...or worst the product would already start flaking!Three years ago, I changed hairdresser and got my first encounter with Johnny B's hair products. It was not Fuddy, but Mode. I really like Mode at first, but it did not hold through the weeks after I got my hair cut. So I kept experimenting with other products.Last year, the hair salon brought new products from Johnny B, and we tried Fuddy, and it has been the only product I have used since then. And I plan on using it as long as it is available on Amazon (hopefully forever). Fuddy styles my hair the way I want, and leaves matte finish, which I prefer. It hold through the day...and the next day...with no to minimal white flakes! It does get sticky to the hands after application of the product, but washing your hands with soap takes care of it. I really like that I can purchase the 16oz container for cheap on Amazon, and it lasts me a full year. This is the second container I have ordered so far. Very well worth the money!

Love the formula in this hair gel for my toddler sons! It is the perfect consistently, strong enough to keep their hair spiked all day but it doesn’t dry hard or crunchy. I also love the fact that it works effectively whether you apply it to dry or wet hair. Also no white residue and it has a pleasant scent!

This stuff works well I mix it in with some hair ‘oil’ or gel to get the weight I want. Has a bit of a ‘pretty’ smell I could do with out. An unscented would get 5 stars.

I used Johnny B mode gel for years and decided to try Fuddy. Works better than mode gel. A little goes a long way. I would have to use 3 times the amount of Mode to get similar results as Fuddy. Fuddy holds better than mode as well. All around better. I only wish they sold it in a larger size. 12oz is a little small. 36oz would be much better

I bought this after my barber had used it on me after a haircut. I love the finish and the smell it had. I decided to buy this instead of the gel that I typically use just to try it out. I did find that the price point was quite expensive for the amount of product you get. If you’re looking for a matte finish and strong hold, this is a product you should buy. I’m not quite sure if I will re-purchase this since there are other brands that can give me the same hold and texture that I like. Maybe the smell will enough convince me to buy this again, who knows?

I have been using this for years so thought I’d send out a compliment! It’s great for people going for a natural look that’s not slimy and greasy.

This is the first product in 40 years that actually gives my hair the volume it says it will I absolutely love it!!!

Both the paste and gel worked exactly how I expected them too.
