Core knowledge of the truest astrology
As a client and now a student of Jade, it is awesome to have the Asterian astrology he uncovered and developed into this work, after developing deep mystical knowledge training in Vedic astrology with masters from Mehar Baba lineage. Learning Asterian is humbling — to see one’s working with an authentic mystical system. Its simplicity, elegance and predictiveness compared to other systems show that core mystical knowledge is not overly complex.

This is a very important life changing book!!!
Congratulations Jade for having the courage to swim upstream! No one likes to have the paradigm they have worked in forever shaken so I suspect there will be lots of resistance from Western Astrology. However if their paradigm is solid they shouldn't be afraid of new thinking, they shouldn't be afraid to debate with you, discuss with you and if they can't then people who follow them should question what they are being told and make their Western Astrology Teachers accountable. Change is difficult for people but I believe truth will always win! I have been a client of Jade's since the early 90's and his wisdom has been invaluable! His guidance with career, relationships, family, health and every aspect of my life has helped me be the best person I can be as life throws life at me. If you miss the importance of this book because of some attachment to some "sign you thought you were" than I suspect you miss a lot of trains that come into your station. If you want to be the best you can be in this lifetime buy this book, open your mind and watch the difference in the quality of your life! Do not think small or you will live small. Jade thank you for the difference you have made in my life and will continue to and now you have given many an invitation to have their lives impacted in a big way by this very important book!

He is truly a gem.
I can't wait to get my copy! Jade and his readings have been such a blessing in my life. I have been deeply involved in Eastern Spirituality, Yoga and Meditation since 1997 and have been a Mother and Wife since 1994. Jade's readings not only address my most basic questions and concerns I have as a "householder", but because of the Spiritual work he has done personally in himself, he is able to profoundly guide me on my spiritual path as well. Jade appeals to the Mother, as well as the Mystic in me. Meeting him in 2008 has changed my life. He is truly a gem.

Brilliant!
I've had my chart done several times...it never seemed to make sense. Nor did it seem to give any concrete answers or direction. Now I understand why. This book is a must for anyone interested in, or merely curious about, astrology. This is well written and easy to understand.Fantastic!

Disappointing; not worthwhile
The title of the book is præsumptuous in two ways:1. The book is restricted to natal astrology. It contains little to nothing about horary, elective, mundane and medical astrology.2. The author neither documents nor demonstrates any derivation of his system from Alexander the Great. The book is neither footnoted nor does it contain a glossary or an index. The author's knowledge of Hellenistic astrology expressed in this book seems quite weak. For example, he fails to implement the fundamental interpretative differences between night and day births. The author indulges in a rather polemic section extolling the virtues of 'the' one and only true 'sidereal' zodiac. The author does not mention that there are many precession amounts for 'sidereal' zodiacs proposed by various authors and schools, both Indian and Western. Which if any are correct and why? He glosses over the fact that astronomic constellations are unequal, asymmetric and cannot be pressed into equal signs, tropical or 'sidereal'. The same applies to the 27 equal lunar mansions (the author does not mention that Hindu astrology has a second division into 28 lunar mansions), several of whose name giving fixed stars are not contained in the mansions named after them. The author neglects that all 'sidereal' zodiacs are calculated from tropical positions and that many 'sidereal' astrologers consider the four cardinal tropical points to be significant in mundane astrology. No one to date has discovered a method of dividing the path of the Earth around the Sun into twelve equal arcs of 30 degrees such that the Alpha, Beta and Gamma stars of each astronomic constellation lying within the zodiacal band are contained in equal arc signs bearing their names. Some 'anthroposophical' astrologers do, however, use planetary positions in the unequal astronomical zodiacal constellations for delineations based on their symbolism, a method worthy of close scrutiny. Some criticisms of the use of a tropical zodiac are, however, justified. If tropical astrologers wish their system to be universal and not merely regional, applicable to the temperate zone of the northern hemisphere between the Arctic Circle and the Tropic of Cancer, they will have to eliminate all symbolic delineations of tropical signs based on astronomic constellations and / or on seasons. The author has done reasonably good work in listing the correspondences amongst Hindu and ancient Greek divinities. However, he is not the first to have done so. The often very close equivalences should not be surprising, as both Greek and Hindu peoples are Indo-Europeans with common origins including mythologies and linguistic roots.A synthesis between Hindu and Hellenistic astrologies might be possible but 'Asterian Astrology' is unsuccessful at it. Both Hindu and Hellenistic astrologies are 'Heathen' and thus contrast to Mediaeval Astrology with its pervasive influence of Abrahamic religious theologies.Instead of purchasing and reading this book, the interested reader would be better advised to obtain good ones on Hindu astrology (several are available) and on Hellenistic astrology. James Holden's translation of Julius Firmicus Maternus' Mathesis is the best book of Hellenistic astrology currently available. Others may be published in the near future.
