This label maker is awesome. There’s a setting to avoid wasting tape (-2 on the leading Margin), can print using Excel data sheets (although the documentation is online, not in the manual). Works from a computer or a smart phone. Does barcodes, wire labels, control panel labels, label student’s electronic devices, use a good variety of tapes (widths, material including shrink labels (for wiring). It’s fairly intuitive, but the more complex things might require one to look up how to accomplish the task (ie. Spreadsheet use). I really like that it can print a lot of labels and come out in one long strip, but partially cut, so it just peels off the strip. This option is very useful for larger jobs. So I’d say, one Con is that the documentation (manual) could be better and more detailed. The case is nice, accessories are as expected (Lithium-ion battery, Charger, USB cable, 1 tape, manual, Software DVD). Not many laptops have DVD players these days. So download the Drivers, software, etc. from the Brother web site. There is a “Professional” version of software (at $15 a month), I can’t really understand who’s going to pay that unless they spend the majority of the day labeling stuff.
