I Loved It !!! An Amazing Journey of Drama and Unexpected Love !!!
Whoa !!!What an explosive and thrilling ride this novel was !!!One amazing thing that drew me right into this novel was the writing. It flowed easily and effortlessly. The reader is thrust into Brooke's world as her story is vividly told. I felt so much for her as a character. After everything she been through she was still so nice and trusting and that's what I loved most about her. I loved how even though life threw her a s***ty hand she never let it turn her bitter or mad. Instead of being introverted and hiding behind a brick wall of non emotions and trust issues (which in all honesty she had every right to do so) she was always open and honest in her feelings and with herself. At times, I did want to strangle her for her gullible reactions and feelings but that never took away from her character. It only added it to. It only made her that more realistic and as an avid reader great character development is a must. The same goes for Drew. You just wanted to hate him and love him at the same time. His "bad guy" vibe in the beginning was over shadowed by his raw honesty which only made him more endearing. Because even though he clearly only wanted one thing from Brooke at the start of the novel you couldn't help but fall for his determination to make her his, in anyway possible. Once he fell in love his character grew so beautifully and emotionally. It was funny and frustrating watching them deal with their feelings and each other. Even though Drew kept saying he wanted only the physical with Brooke he still pursued her, he still chased her wanting what he claimed he didn't and even though Brooke knew she couldn't get the "ever after" or a future with Drew it never stopped her from opening up to him and trusting him with her heart. Defiantly frustrating but entertaining to read none the less.Even after all the anguish and drama these characters went through in this novel you couldn't help but root for them to win together. And I do mean A LOT of drama and anguish. From ex's that were still present, to jealousy, lies and drug trafficking, to an unplanned pregnancy with revenge and even murder this novel held nothing back. It was a whirlwind of nonsense and when it all settled you had an unexpected love that blossomed through it all. This was a good one! Strong well developed and in-depth characters, a full story plot with lots of twist and turns and a love so wrong but right it made you second guess yourself. I enjoyed it from beginning to the end. In fact once I started reading I couldn't put it down, staying up to 4am on a workday. That's how much of an incredible ride this author takes you on in Hustle. As much as I love Brooke and Drew I can't help but hope their story doesn't continue. I can't take anything more happening to them at this point. This is my first novel by this author but certainly not my last and I can't wait to read more of her work.

One hot, angsty, and sexy read!
★★★★ 1/2Hustle is a fast paced, angsty, and hot new adult romance that will have you falling in love and holding your breath till the very end. This book was full of drama, angst, and a ton of tension, but I loved every single second of it.When Brooke heads off to college, she wanted to escape her past, and live a new life. She never intended to get involved with the bad boy of campus, and hot football star Drew. Brooke is trying to spread her wings and live a little and forget her past and her roommate Rose always has a way to get her out of the room and have a little fun. When Brooke meets Andrew (Drew) the first time, you can feel the sparks flying off the page, but Drew is kind of stand offish.Drew pursues Brooke and she knows he's bad for her, but can't seem to stay away from him. She knows he has a weird relationship with Tatum, and doesn't understand it, but she gives Drew a chance. Watching Drew and Brooke trying to figure out the "friends" thing was quite hilarious. Neither of them knew how to navigate around one another, and even though Drew wanted more, it took a lot to convince Brooke to give him a chance. At times I wasn't sure why Brooke should give him a chance because he was kind of a douche at times, and was very evasive about anything and everything she wanted to know.Throughout this book these two figured things out, and came clean about their pasts. When we got to the bottom of everything Brooke had gone through, my heart hurt for her. Then to see why Drew was the way he was, I felt the same, but he put himself in the situation he was in, but was doing an amazing thing about trying to break free.Watching Brooke and Drew truly find themselves and find happiness in this book was beautiful. I went from hating Drew, to falling in love with him at the end. He's not perfect, he's far from it, but he came off as a real person in this book, and seeing him go from this cocky football player to someone with emotions and so much love was amazing. Brooke went from being quiet and subdued, to standing up for herself and being a strong character towards the end. Their relationship was awesome to watch play out and I loved how things ended for them. This book is definitely not your typical new adult story. It has the makings to look like all the other ones out there, but there is so much more. Hustle deals with some real issues, and the darker side of college life. Brooke and Drew had to fight for everything they had and face their fears and past to make it through together. Once I picked this one up, I was unable to put it down. The angst, the drama, the love.. everything about this book was beautiful! I didn't want to say goodbye to these characters, but I loved how things ended for these two! I highly suggest one-clicking this one today, it's definitely worth the roller-coaster of emotions that you will be taken on, trust me!

“I want inside of you – to ruin you from the inside out for anyone else, because you are mine.”
I bought this book on a 99p deal and what a deal! It was a bargain of over 400 fabulous pages!Brooklyn is at college – escaping a painful past of hurt and horrible rumours. A virtual pariah in her hometown, she is starting afresh at college – making new friends and enjoying herself, as well as studying hard. The last thing she wants is to draw attention to herself. However, the moment her eyes meet Andrew’s, it’s hard to turn away from her overwhelming attraction to him.Andrew/Drew is the star quarterback of the football team. Intense, focused and headed to the NFL, he is not willing to commit himself to a relationship with anyone. There’s also the added presence of Tatum, his old friend/girlfriend. They have a volatile relationship and no one really knows what their deal is. Drew has never met anyone more real than Brook. She is the calm to his storm. He is a complex character. Brook’s innocence, honesty and sweetness draws him in.Brook doesn’t want to be another notch on Drew’s bedpost. Drew finds that he’s willing to change for her. There was fantastic push-and-pull chemistry between these two characters. Drew is so intense and alpha, yet he concedes to Brook’s wishes. He let’s her make him work for it. Brook finds it extremely hard to resist him but she puts up a pretty good fight. However, faces from the past threaten her well-being and safety, and shocking secrets come to light, which jeopardise her happiness.I couldn’t put this book down – it was intense, seriously sexy, and so thrilling. The blurb just doesn’t really give anything away in terms of the plot, so it was fantastic how the story evolved. Thoroughly recommend!

So Much More Than You Expect
Wow! This book was really really good and so much more than I expected. Usually these college based novels are so cliche and the characters are two dimensional with a plot you know before you begin.Hustle is nothing like that. There is this constant underbelly of tension and darkness throughout and it works so well.At the heart of the story you have Brooklyn and Drew. She is in her first year and is trying to navigate a stress free college life after a very difficult high school experience. Drew is the college football king and is loved by everyone. That's where the cliches end. What follows is a story that weaves, twists and turns with about seven other additional characters turning quite dark at points.I really enjoyed this book. It has a great plot and I simply could not put it down. Well worth reading.

Brilliantly absorbing
I picked up Hustle after seeing it recommended on a book blog I follow, the reader said it gave her a "Beautiful Disaster" feel, so I had to give it a try and I was not disappointed! There are similarities (it's a college set romance, with a shy heroine with a back story and a bad boy who's a bit free with his affection shall we say) but there are differences too, and it's a different story. The secondary characters are well written although not all are very likeable! I was totally absorbed in the story and read it over one weekend, I would wholeheartedly recommend this book and will be looking at others by the same author.

Hustle.
I really liked this I found the twists and turns of the storytelling very enjoyable and it captured my attention throughout and never let go until the end. I didn't like Drew to begin with it took a while for me to warm up to him but I thought Brooklyn was a lovely sweet girl and too good for Drew but he came through for her in the end. as for the other characters in the book they were a nasty shady lot especially TJ, Kyle, Rose Scott and Tatum they got what they deserved. I highly recommend this book and author.
