A Future as Bright as Your Faith

Simply, this man is a prophet of God. An experienced leader in the highest councils of the church for decades... scores. And amongst these great men perhaps the greatest modern example of Christlike love and service -- of true charity. And, as it happens, a great story teller who finds much wisdom in a lifetime of experiences. Spending a moment each day with him -- priceless.I'm a fan of public libraries. In a world full of more than one can read, little interest in reading something more than once. Few works worthy of that distinction. Here's one that is; 365 days a year... year after year. It sits beside matching books for each of the four standard works and a similar collection of Gordon B. Hinckley -- another wise prophet. My regret is not cracking each of these six open daily... every day. Seems like a great resolution for an approaching new year.

The insights are so touching and thought provoking. I start each day reading the thought for that day. The book has no year so this can be used year after year. When I rush and don't pick it up and read it before leaving my room in the morning, I feel something is missing for the day. AS soon as I realize I didn't read from it, I make a minute to stop and read. I received my copy as a gift from a dear friend. The one I purchased I gifted to a new friend I met at a caregivers class to give her some peace.

I love being able to read an uplifting thought in the morning, think about it throughout the day, and then end the day by rereading the message.

A beautiful little book that is designed to help you think about a gospel topic each day of the year. There is a scripture and a paragraph or three related to it (not necessarily commentary on it) by President Thomas S. Monson. The book is meant to comfort, inspire, and set a brighter tone for each of our days. I enjoy it a great deal and gave one to my son-in-law.A great purchase.

With an inspirational message for each day of the year, this book is a lovely way to start the morning. Each message is a quote from President Thomas S. Monson, President and prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) and was written for members of the church. However, any one can benefit from the ageless wisdom in these messages. I am enjoying it each morning, but it would also end the day with a good note..

I love this book. I read it every day last year and sent it to someone with cancer but I missed it so much that I had to purchase this one for me again. This is the second year that I am reading it every day and it is wonderful.

I LOVE this book! It is the perfect book to read just one page for each day of the year with inspiring messages. This is especially treasured in our home since our beloved President Monson is no longer with us!

five stars for content, but when they say this book is purse size, they mean a small purse. It is 6 1/4" X 4 1/4". Why Deseret book is making books so small lately is a mystery.

Really pleased with this book. Additionally, the postage was great. Arrived much quicker than expected.
