Schoenorchis Fragrans, Wood Board Mounted

These are the cutest mini orchids ever. I ordered four, and they all arrived in excellent condition with very secure packaging. I was a bit skeptical about ordering them online, but I am really impressed with the quality and how healthy they are. I added a small metal hook and a label on the back to help identify each one. I would definitely purchase more in the future!

These orchids are miniscule. They are not like the photos. I am terribly disappointed

Know this is a miniature orchid. Super tiny actually. Google is name for actual size photos. This is a collectors orchid. I am really excited to take on the challenge and see it grow (slowly) It came perfectly packaged and it looks very healthy. They offer a 30 day warranty that I hope I won't need to use! I am loving it even if I know nobody will actually see it or appreciate it. It's for my own enjoyment. I just learn that it has to be watered with distilled water because it doesn't do well with high calcium water.

This is a great company, and I have been ordering from them for years! The orchids are packed with care and with a heat pack as well (it’s currently winter). Items arrived much quicker than they were expected to. Beautiful healthy orchids with good roots. These are the cutest little orchids I’ve ever seen!

I was excited to have my first mounted orchid. Ordered this and another species to try out. It was not mounted to a piece of tree fern as described in the specs, rather it was mounted to 3x3" piece of cut lumber. No big deal, but steadily declined since day one. One of the middle leaves was damaged from the fishing line wrapping it to the mount. After that leaf died off, the whole thing seemed to have gotten crown rot. Roots looked great and was careful in the watering process. Had to throw out. Bought a second one to give to my friend. Hers also arrived on same style piece of lumber, not natural looking. She is being extra careful with hers.

The orchid came well packed with a heat pack. Luckily we were in a somewhat warm spell (at least for new England) when the orchid was delivered. They orchid was tightly tied to the cedar plank with fishing line and sphagnum moss. It the moss was still lightly damp. I gave it and the other two orchids a quick warm soak and put it in my intermediate/warm terrarium with other miniature to small orchids. Fairly strong LED light, temp a low of 60-62 nightly and high now 74-76 (its in the unheated part of the basement) with an undertank reptile heat pad to boost the internal temp by day. Humidity around 65-85% with a single nozzle auto mister and me providing a bit extra misting. there is a mini fan in the tank to move the air around. I think this orchid should be fine as long as I keep it just outside the directly LED light as it is pretty strong.

Arrived to live with beautiful flowers on it by the next day the flowers were gone waiting to see if it blooms again otherwise it was a good deal

I read that these orchids generally prefer drier conditions compared to other orchids, yet I still bought this one even though I was worried about the potential rot from all that moss. So I can't say I was completely surprised when it fell apart after unwrapping the paper towel. I took some pictures before giving the two halves a quick rinse to get a better look at the damage. The one half is pretty badly rotted, but the other still looks healthy and even has some roots. So I'm somewhat optimistic that it will survive. I'm definitely not an expert though, so we'll have to wait and see. I'll see if I can update at some point to let you all know if it survived.
