I purchased this mic mostly for schooling conferences but I also use it for streaming/ gaming in my free time! The colors are a very notable feature and it's extremely easy to plug in! My only complaint would be the sound quality. It does a great job cancelling unwanted noises! However, that's one of the problems. It cancels out a LOT of noises, including your voice at times. This mic requires you to be very close to it to ensure it's actually detecting you. If you're looking for a mic that can be placed a couple inches away and detects sound, this mic probably isn't for you.One other note, I've noticed while playing back videos that the mic produces a fuzzy noise, probably due to the usb itself but regardless, it is quite annoying.Despite this, this is a great first mic for me!

I see a lot of other 1 star reviews talking about how low the volume is and how the quality is really bad. But in reality, they really just aren't trying enough. I also thought this was just a crappy mic with really low volume. Then, looking for any solution I took a quick glance at the instructions, and they state clearly how to use it. I won't go too into detail here but you have to go through a couple of steps through the "Control Panel" which can be accessed by searching it in through settings. After you do that it is such a good mic. It took me like 2 minutes or less to set it up. the RGB lights also look pretty dope. I have a photo, but please forgive me for the horrible camera quality on my laptop. It also came with a mic cover. All in all, great for the value.

Looks cool, thats about it. You have to have microphone volume on 100 to even hear yourself on playback. And there is a feedback noise we are getting on every computer we plug it into. A steady pulse that can only be coming from the microphone itself as it happens on 4 different computers when we plug it in. So when you listen to the playback there is an annoying buzz that comes, then goes, then comes then goes, over and over and over. If you watch the sound test in windows the bar goes up and down and up and down constantly even with no noise at all.Must be broken :(

So far, so good! I take classes online but my new laptop has a terrible mic (and speakers, but that’s a whole ‘nother issue). So I got this mic to make it easier for my prof and fellow students to understand me. My prof said I sound much better using it.I can’t speak to longevity since I’ve only had it a few weeks. I can say it is a little intrusive in terms of its size and where it needs to be close to you to work. But I’m still getting used to it. It may feel less intrusive as I get used to using it more.Overall, I think it’s a good deal for the money, especially for someone who is looking for something to get improved quality for speech but doesn’t need super enhanced quality for music, for example.

I shopped around and this appeared to be the best mic for the money. Once I got it and used it, I realized what a great little mic it is. You can move the arm any way you want and it stays in place. My old mic would flop over constantly, so this saved me from endlessly fixing that. It also has a beautiful cool light show built in with colors that are just right. Truthfully, I even told my friends about it.

Definitely some background noise buzzing, however the voice comes through pretty good, but you have to get close to the mic for best results. Good for the price though. The lights are nice! Returning for a better quality mic with no buzzing sound.

Thanks to Covid, I am not only a mom but a co-teacher for an e-learner. We found out 4 days before school started that we needed a microphone for my son.The set up was super easy. His teachers can hear him perfectly. It doesn't weed out all background noise but still does an excellent job. It doesnt take up much room on his desk and the lights are on when the Mic is on and off when it's off.

It isn’t great. Obviously, for 10 dollars I don’t expect much, but it was always too quiet when I used it with my friends and they either could barely hear me or couldn’t at all. If you really want a mic but can’t afford one that’s super pricey, just stick with a headset.
