I panicked when I first saw the width difference.(right side Annie’s, left is this product) I always use 1/4 in fusible tape when sewing this to mesh. This actually gave me a better overall finished look. I bought white, too. Very happy with the quality. It ironed and fused perfectly.

I ordered the light purple color, it is really beautiful, and seemed true to the pics. (I took some pics w/ an Ott-Lite - I think it may be very slightly lighter, but its exactly what I expected the color to be.) It has a soft, satiny hand and seems to be good quality, although it is on the thinner end of the spectrum for this kind of elastic it is by no means too thin or inferior. It will be perfect for my projects. I think having a slightly thinner elastic for binding the edges of fine lingerie is preferable - it adds less bulk to the edges of the garment (it IS being folded over after all), and the fabrics I use it w/ are very thin & stretchy. The reason I only gave 4/5 stars: The way it was packaged - it came rolled w/ a little piece of tape securing the end, placed in a plastic bag. That tape was very sticky, causing the end to unravel a bit & pulled some threads about 11.5” into the roll, which made that area look worn & unusable for my purposes (high quality lingerie & swimwear). I’m sure I can still find a use for the 11” piece leading up to it, and the damaged spot is only about 1/2” long, but it could’ve been prevented if they had used different tape (something w/ low adhesion, like masking or painter’s tape?) or no tape at all. The price per yard is 69 cents, which is still reasonable, even though I prefer to pay less. (Just for reference: I used to pay about 35-40 cents per yard for this type of elastic @ a high end fabric store where I used to live) That doesn't really figure into my rating (I wouldn’t have ordered it if I thought it was way too much!)

Used to fix a costume mask and matched the hair color to blend. Would be good for table skirt and other needs. I was skeptical- will purchase again

I have very this, fine hair and this elastic creates perfect elastics for my hair when I want to pull it up. No pulling or tugging on my hair when I remove them. Just perfect!
