Roof Rack Cross Bars Fit for Toyota Tacoma 2005-2021 Double Cab/Crew Cab only

If you are looking for a good OEM replica this is it. The reviews can definitely paint many pictures but if you want something close to OEM with really not much sacrifice this is it. I’ve had the Toyota OEM version on other trucks and people at times act like the real one was made of gold and perfect and it’s not. This has no more or less tiny visible flaws then the real deal. This style isn’t meant regardless for extreme load capacity so just use your head and you’ll be fine. The instructions are good enough to get you by they are not perfect. Use a good high grade silicon on the washer and screw threads to keep water out the cab bc the roof taps are not blind. Don’t crank everything to the moon either, reasonable force is sufficient. Get the screws started and just work everything around to get a good alignment. Then when everything looks good give it a final tightening. I feel like anyone complaining about things either rushed or they are just not inclined or expected this to be the greatest imitation. I’m a Toyota person through and through and I’m plenty happy with this product.

Did not buy this crap. Less then 2 mounth - no any load on rail. Support did not help on this.

Had it for about 3 months and so far its held up.Install was fairly easy but a couple bolts didn’t line up perfectly so I had to force it in a little. Otherwise its good if you want it for looks.

This was the second Tacoma I have installed the foldable roof rack. It is not for heavy duty use, so don't over-expect on the performance. Took 3 hours to install, including a frustration break. Confirm the hole alignments on the rack with the mounting brackets before installing them because they are not identified as to correct side. The black powder coating on the brackets filled in the screw threads, so use some oil to cut the threading again to help with install. Stainless screws are softer and can strip or break with too much torque. I also had to bend the brackets a bit just to get enough hole alignment down the rest of the rack on each side. You have to remove the crossbars at install and maintain hole alignment on the threaded washers in the rack so that you don't have to undo them to realign it. There were not enough adhesive foam washers to comply with instructions, but substitute rubber washers were included that can be used to seal the gap between the roof rack and the roof top at the weld nuts. Reinstall the crossbars to check fit adjustment before finishing the tightening.

Installing wasn’t too difficult, but instructions were terrible. The racks ability to switch from cross bars to folding them in is great. Unfortunately the rack did not hold up well when attaching kayaks for a 5.5 hour trip. A overall I am not pleased with the purchase, however I must leap it on at this point.

The quality of material isn't the best. Considering removing it.

It looks sturdy as OEM! Aluminum cross bars and direction could be better. All in all an A+ buy!
