I use it on the kitchen table but it would be good for travelling, if you have a need to iron anything. It's quite thick and padded so should last well.

I wanted something where I could quickly press craft and sewing projects without the need to have the ironing board up all the time.This does fit the bill but is clearly more designed for using on top of a metal appliance as there are magnets in the corners to hold it in place.Initially you do get a diamond pattern in the piece you are trying to iron, but that flattens out quite quickly.The real drawback is if you want to use it on your craft table. I use an old table that has seen better days so am not particularly fussy about it, but it does now have a white diamond pattern on it where the steam went through the stitched areas of the mat. I now fold up a large towel under the mat which does solve the problem. Still beats having the ironing board out all the time.

Item arrived today so I haven't used it yet but have used similar ones. . they are very useful when you have only a few "easy" items to iron. This product seems well made and suitable for its purpose.

It is a good product, but after using a steam iron the mat becomes wet. Also, a table under the mat gets wet as well.

Arrived with stitching coming undone at all four corners, very odd, so I've been unable to try it out, I'm waiting to hear back from the seller. EDIT: turns out the stitching is undone in those corners due to the magnets being there.

Very good idea but once you have ironed your clothes on it the pattern of the mat is on the clothes

I sent for this without great expectations but I have to say I am very impressed. I wanted it for my sewing room as my little ironing board was taking up too much space on the desk. This is a great little ironing mat which I can use then fold away. I am only pressing seams when crafting not doing the weekly ironing but it suits my needs just fine. A good little buy.

Very thin , and easy to burn .Not worth the money .
