Most comfortable long distance walking socks I have owned
I owned 8 pairs and my husband owns 6 pair. Most comfortable long distance walking socks I have owned. I have gone through hundreds of dollars worth of socks trying to fine a pair that wouldn't give me blisters (I walk an averase of 4 miles per hour sand my husband will average over 5 miles per hours wlking, when he walks alone. Fabulous for a 68 year old hay.) But remember everyone's foot is different. I suggest, start with one pair and exercise with them several time before ordering more. I ware a size 8 shoe, 8 1/2 walking or hiking shoe. I bought a medium, but I have a low volume foot. Husband wears a size 11 walking shoe, he buys size large

Sizing is way off
I purchased many Wigwam socks before and was expecting a good fit from these. I ordered Large but the socks I received looked like size Small to Medium at best. To add to the disappointment now I have to pay to return them.

Very good quality
I bought this for my son. He's hard on all his clothes and these socks last him a long time. He loves the Wigwam brand. He trusts their design, quality and durability. He wants only the best products and Wigwam offers the best.

Really a great sock. Perfect thickness. Long Lasting!
I really like these socks - sturdy, comfortable, and just the right thickness for me. I use them for tennis, running, and golf (in addition to everyday use). Some other brands I have are too thick and too hot and others are too thin (perhaps better for running?). I am not a hardcore athlete, but I have have subjected these socks to some fairly rigorous use. I have tried multiple brands over the years and keep coming back to these. If you are worried about the cost, keep in mind that I have had several pairs of these for 4+ years AND I have saved money on band-aids for blisters! I occasionally wash them with bleach to restore the brightness.Highly recommended.

Wigwam socks are great for walking
I purchased these socks because the manufacturer I had purchased from for 20 years seems to have started selling socks that wear out quickly. The Wigwam socks feel good on my feet. There doesn't seem to be a build-up of heat and and the moisture seems to wick away. The socks don't show the signs of wear that caused me to switch sock brands. I am very happy with these socks. I felt they were worth the higher price as compared with the previous socks from a different manufacturer.

GREAT MID-HEIGHT SOCKS
THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A 3 PACK BUT ONLY GOT ONE SOCK.

Great padding and no seam
My fourth pair. A little heavy for short runs or really hot weather, but perfect for those long runs in cooler or damp weather. The padding and fit in the forefoot and heal are exceptional and really protect against blistering, especially if your toebox is a little loose or snug. No seam in the front to worry about. Little-to-no pilling even after a long season of use. I also use the low-cut socks for long-distance cycling for the same reasons. Just an exceptional all-around training sock, built to last and made by a terrific American company.

Not as pictured!
Excellent, comfortable sock, BUT -- illustration for 'black' shows gray-and-black piece, very nice and stylish -- what arrived was a black with some black patterning. Not at all what I had expected.
