Andersen HitchesAdjustable Ball Mount 8 Inch Rise/Drop Rapid Hitch

After using it one time to haul 9000 lbs, I had to use a hammer to get it to move up and down. Then I took it apart to see what was wrong. I couldn't see anything catching, but I wasn't able to get it go back together. The slider wouldn't d fit over the vertical column. Something bent during my 40 mile trip. I was very disappointed because I researched many brands and models, and the rapid hitch seemed to be the best value for a heavy duty hitch. The only other brand I was considering was the Weigh Safe, but I didn't like their pin and lock system.

For a hitch that costs that kind of money the should package it a lot better and use a better impression mold for the writing cause you can’t read anything on the hitch garbage product

By the description I thought I was getting a 2 1/2” shank. It arrived with a 2” shank and an adapter sleeve. Ordered a replacement biting the issue, and was sent the same item. Ended up returning product and ordering directly from manufacturer and got the correct product. Hitch quality is great !!

I ordered an 8" drop greasless ball hitch w/2"&2-5/16" balls. I got a 6" drop with all steel balls. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!

Love this hitch! Towed a Polaris Ranger 1,600 miles and never knew it was behind me. Once the trailer was unhooked you couldn’t even tell the hitch had been used.
