As jeweler's saws go, this particular saw, I believe, is a better-made saw than some of the other saws out there. As anyone knows, and has used one of these before, this is not the same as a coping saw, not even close. This is a jeweler's saw for fine intricate, and precise work, designed for tiny scroll cuts in metals. This saw does quite the job it's supposed to do.

Small saw easy to use for cutting split rings (jump) in copper, aluminum. Blades are decent too. I broke one due to inexperience. You have to go lightly upwards then come downwards with firmness. You cut on downstroke. A little tricky to align blade in saw. There is some play in the height adjustment which tends to loosen blade occasionally, so dinged one star. I may have to add a drop of Loctite Thread Hardener on it. The blade is held securely in place, it is the height adjustment that is a bit loose sometimes. Not a big deal. You cannot beat the value of this saw, 144 blades, and bench pin for this price! Very nice bench pin, trim to fit the holder if you have one. Blades- be sure to keep them well oiled in their pockets and wrapped up in an oily rag inside an airtight box.

Its a good deal for the price. Decent little saw with a ton of cheap blades and a little surface to saw against. I was using it to cut brass, that honestly was far too thick for a jewelers saw. I was cutting 5/16" brass plate, annealed of course. It took a lot of patience, but it made its way through it. Everything else I have used it for it has not let me down. I can't say anything bad about it.

I don't make jewelry, but needed to cut 3/16"×2" slots in .125" aluminum stock. A 3/16" hole is too small to start a jigsaw blade and I don't have a scroll saw. This was an inexpensive alternative. It worked quite well. Not very fast, but easy to control the cut with no clean up filing needed.

I have several jewelers hand saws. This one seems to be well-made and have good quality. Nice assortment of blades. All at a good price. Highly recommend it

The saw and clamp set are just fine. The blades that come with the saw are junk. If you order the saw, get better quality blades when you order.

I'm a complete novice at metal cutting/jewellery making. I was not 100% sure how easy or difficult this might be however I have found it easy enough to use. The blades are easy to put in. I thought there could be issues with the blade holding in place but no, the screws tighten the blades in place really well. I have tackled some harder metals and it is a lot of sawing but I haven't broken a blade yet while sawing vertically. It is easy to hold while sawing too. Make sure you get some sort of strong clamp for your metal so you can saw it better! Anyway, I'm happy I purchased this one, it works exactly as I hoped it would and I would recommend it to others
