This is a cool product in theory, but the Handle can be a little cumbersome and in the way, i would recommend moving up to the Pen Version and skipping this version all together. this is just a little too kiddy even for a kid.

Fun rainy day activity! Our newly four year old needed some help doing the project, but did enjoy doing it! It’s a cute idea and the story line with the names of the animals really connected my daughter to it. We definitely weren’t able to get our animals as cute looking as the animals in the pictures, but I think an older child would have no trouble. My four year old also didn’t notice or mind. We needed to add an extra dollop to stick the legs to the body to stabilize the giraffe which isn’t mentioned in the directions. Again, I think an older child would have done a better job on the legs or have an easier time keeping track of the legs, but our daughter would lose them so we attached.We had some trouble getting it to work initially because we use rechargeable batteries, and I wasn’t sure how long it took to warm the plastic so I wasn’t sure if it was going to work. Turns out our batteries just weren’t fully charged. I would have loved if they stated in the directions how long to expect before it worked or if they stated that a green light would come on when it was ready. This isn’t really an issue likely if you’re using regular brand new batteries.Overall, it’s a fun little toy and we are focused on some fine motor skills (like using scissors) at this age, so it was a nice new way to improve those skills!

We were excited to try this as it seemed creative yet safe for young children. It's disappointing. The forms are too shallow, the material doesn't heat up enough to be pliable long enough to effectively play with it. My granddaughter did seem to like trying it but this does not live up to expectations at all. Do not recommend.

We loved this parent-friendly (no mess) craft! Our 3.5 year old son found the 3doodler to be strangely addictive! He gets to think outside of the box by building animals to his liking in a unique setting.The actual 3doodler was very easy and fun to use and the directions were simple. Plenty of extra sticks were included which gives this project a longer lifespan than most arts and crafts projects.

Got this for my niece and now she keeps begging my brother to video chat me to show me her little projects. She’s more than happy about it.

Fun activity with my daughter! Didn’t get too hot so I wasn’t worried about her hurting herself and she could be creative and independent.

This was really disappointing. It does not work the way it's supposed to. You have to turn the crank for AGES just to get a tiny drop of material to come out, and it's impossible to mold or shape. I got this for my 5 yr old thinking it would be a safer alternative to a regular 3D pen. It is no good. Don't buy it. My advice- Wait for your kid to get a little older and get a normal 3D pen.
