The Doctor's Guide To Concierge Medicine: Essential Startup Steps For Doctors Considering A Career Transition In Concierge Medicine, DPC or Membership Medicine.

Very little "advice" given other than to consult a professional to transition your practice. I was hoping for more information but was overwhelmed by redundant statistical facts, various quotes in multiple locations, unusual layout of chapters aND plugs for varoused services. There were no "Essential Startup Steps". I'm so very disappointed and felt that my money would've gone farther had I saved it for a real consultant.

We physicians have needed a "how to" book for along time to help us transform our practices, returning to what we went into the medical field for anyway, and that is to have a personal relationship with our patients...a relationship without the insurance company middlemen or interference in the doctor patient relationship. A great "how to" book with great information on not only how to do it, but how to avoid the pitfalls. I love this book and appreciate the information it contains and the resources it lists for rebuilding my practice...truly going Back to the Basics ( the name of my new practice) in caring for patients as their partner in their healthcare.....just the way it WAS and should be again!

This book is thrown together from a bunch of internet content. No, to very little, original content. Disorganized. Not useful in the least.
