I sent this book to my mother-in-law, stepmom, and got one myself. We all have had a great time reading the cookbook, and if you ever need a recipe for "pot brownies", there is one in there! I nearly died laughing when I saw that. I'm guessing that's how the moms of old kept from going crazy being at home all day with all those kids! A fun book for women who cook, and those who don't!

Hilarious and useful....can't beat that combo. My hairdresser had one, and after seeing hers, I had to have one for my cookbook collection.

This book is fun, informative, and just down right Wild in the very best of ways. Why four stars, not five plus, like it deserves? It ended too quickly AND it left out the recipe for chocolate martinis. While I can understand both, the sum of both costs a star. the martinis are variable, according to the sweetness one can handle with alcohol. It is a notorious and undesirable fact the sweet in drink makes the hangover more unbearable. (Be sure to include a glass of water for each drink imbibed to help with this problem. the more H2O, the better!). But this lovely compendium creates FOMO for what is unmentioned. You know, the fun stuff invented by women famous and infamous could be expanded forever, including more than Spam by the authors. I loved it and love it, the various authors, and even Hilary for her cookies made waitin' on no man published elsewhere. Thank you for them I needed homage to ALL women for their unparalleled grace, humor and desire to love us all through the most fundamental pathway to our soul. We must unite as it is THE only way to save the world.

This was a gift for a hobby collector of cook books. It contains old recietes plus antidotes to cheer you.

I gave this to my daughter. A good laugh and good info. Love the look of the book and what it says inside.

Yet another for the Girls.......

I gave as a gift. Was interesting but I was not as thrilled with it as I thought it would be. Stories and recipes were not as engaging as I hoped.

Fun book and interesting stories. The recipes are so-so. I tried to make a few things and they are just ok.
