was exactly as I needed it. Just be aware that the sides are a bit different in cut. After realizing that, it went over my post like butter. Strong, still lightweight, looks good, cheap, what more do I want ????

I was worried as the name wasn't known to me (Celt) and it was going on a bike I couldn't get an exact measurement on prior to tearing the old clamp off and putting the new one on. But it is very well built clamp and works extremely well.

Works fine and sized as advertised, but the nob on the backside that is used to set the tightness when the lever arm is closed feels a little flimsy and may be plastic, so I could foresee some issues with this in the future, hence the 4 stars. But for less than $8 its not a big problem

The seat clamp that came with my Raleigh mountain bike was always allowing the seat to slip down, but slow enough that I would not notice until my knees started to hurt. It did not matter how tight I cranked it. Finally, while ride the other day, I ended up breaking the handle on the old clamp. The local bike shop had none in stock and would take a week to get it in.The 34.9 was a perfect fit for my bike. The seat is secure while also not needing a lot of force to fasten/unfasten the seat clamp. Will buy again if I need another seat clamp.

After I read some user reviews who complained that their 34.9mm seatpost clamp didn't work with LARGER tubes than my 29.2mm tube (my Bontrager tube listed 29.2mm), I had some doubts. I even tried to cancel my order but it was too late so it was shipped to me. When I put it on and tightened, it fit perfectly. Everyone needs to remember to install the clamp on the seatpost frame tube which is going to increase the mm diameter by quite a lot. If one just clamps it on the tube and not the seatpost frame tube, it is installed incorrectly. Also if one is snapping the lever or bolt, you are clearly tightening way too tight. You tighten the bolt and then you push the lever with some decent strength but not crazy super strength push. That is simply user error.... The clamp fits nice and tight. It looks good and the lever can be easily open and closed by the rider.

These work just as well as the name brand quick release clamps, if not better. I race BMX, and we change out our seatposts several times throughout a race day, we have a very long post we use to warm up and cool down, and a very short one we put on to race. I've been running this clamp all year and i couldn't be happier with it. Smooth operation, super easy to lock and release, and has cutouts for weight savings. My race bike's worth 3000 bucks but you wont see me spend more than 8 on a seat clamp.

The 34.9mm clamp does not have a lip on it as shown in the picture. Otherwise, it's a totally adequate clamp. I also ordered the wrong size, but the seller took it back promptly. Make sure to measure the seat tube accurately.
