I loved every word of it
I read this book at my son's suggestion. He was hesitant in recommending it, as my knowledge of/ and interest in football is very limited. I loved every word of it, even the football bits! This is the story of the love between a dog and her man, but Triggs' love for Roy is not blind and she paints him for us warts and all;: at the same time leaving us in no doubt that he is an Alpha Male and must be seen as such. I took 6 weeks to read it because I deliberately rationed myself in order to savour it in full. A hilariously funny book, I would recommend it to anyone in need of a good laugh.

I'd read it again!!
If only dogs could speak! This is a very human story [sorry Triggs!] of a touching [and hilarious] relationship of a man and his dog. You don't have to be a football fan, but it would help if you knew some of the more famous players. I can actually visualise Beckham standing in Roy's kitchen mouthing the alphabet as he re-orders the spices!! Another reviewer on amazon.co.uk says he wanted to tap the shoulder of the person sitting beside him on the train to read them a passage or two. I felt exactly the same!!

Love Roy.
All my life I admired Roy. Since he came on the soccer scene I told people he would be big news, but because he way from Mayfield no one would listen. Now if he was from Bishopstown they would have taken notice. So Roy has a chip on the shoulder or more like two blocks. Still a gentleman does great work for the disabled. I think shows what the guy is a lot a about - desperate, nice, desperate ,a nice guy.

Genius
This is a funny, perceptive and brilliantly written book. The premise of having Roy Keane's dog write his own story can distract from how great the writing actually is, and how accurate the voices. It is a pleasure to read

Ah Roy
What a new way of writing a book like this. Proably funnier if you are a Man U/ Roy Keane fan but very well written with the dogs tendancies still kept it in to add that extra dimension.

Not for everyone
If you like dogs, follow football and like Roy Keane you will really enjoy this book - otherwise leave it alone.

I normally love these types of books but this just didn't work
Being a Cork woman, I grew up loving Roy Keane, I couldn't get into this book as it was told through the eyes of the dog. I normally love these types of books but this just didn't work. Maybe it's more suitable to soccer fans in general!

Trigger Happy
Without doubt one of the funniest books to come along in a long time. I laughed from beginning to end.

For United fans only
Many reviews I've read suggest that this is a fine book even if you don't like football let alone Roy Keane. I completely disagree. I am sure you will miss many of the side jokes and nuances if you don't know the characters of the players at the club at the time. So, if you are a United fan it is most amusing and an enjoyable read, cleverly written from an unusual angle. No idea how close it is to describing the real Roy Keane but didn't much care.

It’s ok
If you are a fan of Roy or his dog you’re on to a winner other than that an average read
