My wife loves maple flavored items. I get these for her every year for Christmas.

I hope this was just a "one off"... the quality of my purchase was horrible... The cookies were mostly broken, but worse they were... kind of soggy? Tasted stale and weird... I ended up throwing them out, I honestly think maybe they were refrigerated at some point then sat somewhere hot and humid and condensation maybe occurred?

We used to buy these near the border before heading back to the states years ago. This is the same brand but doesn’t taste as good as either of us remember. Did they change the recipe? Also, it was shipped in a bag and some crushing occurred during shipping.
