Mosquitos and moths have been annoying in the evening preventing evening use of our patio. After hanging this bug zapper out and leaving it turned on all evening, the bug population has been significantly reduced making evening use of the patio much more enjoyable. The recommended cleaning with the supplied brush requiring removal of the protective grid was not practical since every morning the entire grid and bottom, as well as the collection drawer, was full of bugs. Actually there are typically more bugs on the grid and bottom than in the drawer. The quick solution was to empty the drawer and use a lawn blower on low to clean the grid and bottom of the bug zapper. Our patio is sheltered from the rain, but if not, the unit must be brought in if rain is expected since it is not rated for outdoor use. The unit is very durable, easy to use, and very effective. I strongly recommend it.

It’s a bug zapper and does its job. My big complaint is that only one side actually gets the bugs. There is no screen on the other side. (I know it is for changing bulbs and could be a safety hazard) However, it seems like the entire other side of the unit is being wasted by not being utilized. I’d love to see both sides of this thing full of mosquitoes!Bottom line is that it works, but I was disappointed in that it has a big surface area that isn’t utilized at all.

In May of 2019, I bought a Electric Bug Zapper/Pest Repeller Control that is on 24/7 and it still works. I bought this in July, 2020 and it no longer works. I have never heard it zap anything and the cord is at the top of the vertical tower design instead of the bottom. It has been a dud.

I live on alot of land..most of it floods so our mosquitos are the size of dinosaurs. This bug zapper is amazing. Not to big, no noise, easy to hang and keeps our back porch (16x24) clear so we can actually enjoy sitting outside now. Would definitely recommend.

Turned it on right next to me while sitting outside –– I mean 2 feet away –– and the mosquitoes could not care less. Solution: If you got to work outside turn a fan on high and stand in the stream.

The item I received was defective. First, when plugged in only one light came on. Secondly, the is a short in the cord because after the light came on, the whole thing went blank. I plugged it into a different plug and still did not come back on. Lastly, after light came back on a moth flew into the zapper and just played around. He never died.

I bought this product because i live in Florida and mosquitos are a problem. Its been on since i got it and not once has it worked. Mosquitos bit me and my spouse over the weekend while this thing was like 10 feet away. Its going back!

We love this bug zapper for camping! We have a toy hauler camper, and our kids are in and out a lot! We set the bug zapper inside the “garage” of the camper and we don’t have any bugs flying around inside when we close the camper up for the night! It is the perfect size and easy to move. It is not noisy at all.
